Hi Girls,

I'm pretty sure the only heated pool in Townsville is Glen Buchanan, and it is not a public pool... its for private swimming lessons only.

I think Long Tan pool has a smaller pool for those learning to swim, but it isn't heated.

There is a new indoor one at riverside gardens so ill see if that works... surely there would be more than one...

Ok so there a few options just tell me which one suits??

1. Long Tan pool off fulham rd. (heated)
2. the strand pool (heated)
3. Kirwan pool the one with the slide (not sure if heated)

The only concern I have is going to an outdoor pool. The sun is pretty brutal up here and my boys arent used to it (esp whitey Jett lol) and I will be heading into the 2nd trimester, we might have to give it a miss so none of us get burned or heat stroke :)

I wont be taking Miss E anywhere that isnt covered even by a shade....I know the strand one has a shade over the baby pool...
