I've seen people making and selling handmade cards.
Or going to the 2nd hand shops, and garage sales and op shops for cheap baby stuff and selling it on Ebay to make a few $$ a week

I love getting crafty and painting pictures! I love to have the time to do more of them. Trouble is I spend so much time on them that I dont want to sell them! :D

If you're into crafts the trick is to find something that's not costly to make or that's not too labour intensive - that way you get heaps done and you don't get too attached to your masterpieces - you could try jewellery (beads, etc) or cute little hats/bags for kids - embellish with colourful felt cut outs if you can sew. Second hand bookshops should have craft books to give you lots of ideas.
good luck

thanks for the ideas:idea:
I run my own greeting card business. I got in contact with someone in the US, who wanted to expand it into Australia, and I got the go ahead to start it here.
So during the day when looking after my 3 month old I run this business. Its fantastic, and I love being able to work from home.

Can I ask tateb, how you found someone to get in touch with?
I went onto a US WAHM forum and found the business on there, it just so happened they were wanting to expand into Australia.
