I've being wondering who is everyone taking in with them besides there DP/DH's,

with claire i had DH, MIL and mum, but this time we havent desided, DH wants someone in there to help him:rolleyes: but i dont want anyone that i no of, i was thinking of someone but then she would have to stay with us till bubs born which would over croud the house plus she has a 4mth old as well and my sister is already looking after claire n then she has her son...

so we have no one, we are so unorginized this time around, its crazy, have only got the bassinet ready n thats it, out of everything we need shame on me

Im only having DP in with me. But I dont feel the need to have others there. My mum doesnt want to be in the room, if she gets here in time she'll prob be somewhere in the hosp. SIL wants to come in but I dont want her in there. No offence to those who like there mums sisters who ever else in with them but the thought of that has always horrified me, but thats just me. Mind you DP has also been told hes not to leave me once it starts which means no smoke breaks for him.
I think who you have with you is a personal choice and its about whatever you feel comfortable with and what you feel you need to get you through the birth.

Just me and DH.
Last time it was just him there, until I started crying for Mum,and made him ring her:laughing:
Its like when you are little, and sick and all you want is your Mum!
Unfortunatley she wont be here this time,so yeah just us.
DH is an awesome birth partner,so he will be fine!

Just my Hubby.. and I suspect I am going to have to handcuff him to me to keep him in there once things start getting interesting!!! (he doesn't cope too well with the visuals of childbirth and is totally horrified at the thought of seeing me push a baby out of my hoo ha!!)

Well I'm having a c/s, so it'll be just DH and me. Probably would have been that way anyway, even if I was going vb. Mum would be a great support, but I also have two MILs and I don't think I'd be able to keep them out if my Mum was in there too...

I am having DH and my mum. If mum was not available I would have my sis and if sis was not available I would have my bro. I know that sounds a bit strange but I am extremely close with all my immediate family and would be happy to have any of them there. My bro is so excited to be an uncle and as he is the only boy and the youngest I don't really think of him any different from my sister! DH gets on with all of them really well and would be just and comfortable having any of them there. If DH couldn't be there for some reason I would probably have my bro and my mum (I need mum for my first one at least!)

Same here. When I was labouring with my 1st my mum turned up and the midwives asked if they should send her in. My response was something along the lines of "I don't f%&**^ think so!" :o
