My DD who is 10 months old and is Lactose Intolerant, so she is on Karicares Lactose Free Formula. Recently i was giving her yoghurt ( either Soy or L/Free) and she is sick not long afterwards. I stopped for a day to see if it was this and BINGO she had no yoghurt and hence no being sick.
Does anyone know why this could be? We have a Peads. appointmant i 2 weeks.

Was it strawberry flavour??? Some kids are sensitive to different fruits??? Or yoghurt of any variety is very hard for little tummies to break down, maybe she's got a sensitive tummy??? Certain bacteria cultures in yoghurt can be problematic to, or as said before jot down the colour, flavour and additive numbers, it could just be too much milk products (even if it is lactose free) it can be really rich on little tummies.
Did or does she get reflux???? Yoghurt doesn't sit down in the tummy well
Good luck

She could be allergic to the cow's milk protein in the yoghurt. This is a common intolerance and different to lactose intolerance.

My son was found to be Lactose intolerant as a baby. He is two now and can't have any dairy at all or else he throws up. Yogurt I found was the worst and he cannot still eat any yogurt. I try to give him yogurt now and then he still has the same reaction.

It is all the flavours of yoghurt. She did or does not get Reflux, just had a trace of Lactose Intolerance when i had the test done.
What other Calcium rich foods can i give her instead of yoghurt, as yoghurt is easy to give to gets lots of goodies into them..
Thanks for all the replys too ...
