nappy hunt explained (please?)

hi, i just read another thread about the nappy hunt and i have registered, but i don't really get it.

so we just go through the list of sponsors, check out there website and look for icons? is that it?

what then? are nappies cheaper, i hear people talking about stocking up and stuff.

i am new to mcn and no idea about nappy hunt, can someone explain it all please????

As far as I understand it, it is an icon hunt over all of the sponsors websites.

SOME of the sponsors have special deals for Hunters.

At the end when you have found as many as you can they award prizes. Not sure how they decide but there are TONS of prizes. :)

the nappy hunt is about getting websites noticed.
many of the sites/companies are run by work at home mummies (WAHM). they are only small companies so advertising and getting them selves noticed is a lot harder then it is for bigger ones.
so, the nappy hunt comes along.
each site on the sponsor list has an icon hidden on their site somewhere, to find it you either have to work out clues or just search the site. while searching you get to see and know their products.

there are specials on during the GDUNH at most of the sites, and there are also prizes at the end for some lucky winners.
