Pain ... can someone help?

Before going to bed last night I was a little sore on my left side. It is mostly around my hip area and up my side to my waist.

I woke up this morning in a fair amount of discomfort probably a 6/10 and today it is worse and is now about a 8/10 for discomfort. I have taken some panadol and I am trying to rest but it is so uncomfortable!

The pain is not in my uterus and only on the left side, I also have a sore ankle on the same side.

Does anyone know what it is? What can I do to help?

first thing that came to my mind was appendix? maybe go get it checked just to be safe. are you physically ill in any other way? otherwise could be a nerve thing i spose, but i aint no doc so honestly i have no idea but doesnt sound like something id brush off. better to be safe :)

I thought appendix too but appendix is on your right side.

My gut instinct tells me it's fine, but the pain is just so unbearable and panadol just isn't cutting it! :(

I feel a little ill in the tummy, but I think it's the pain.

have you had the same kinda pain in your breasts, or back??

i had pains all through my first preg, really painful, i used to end up throwing up because my body was so stressed and i was in so much pain. ended up in hospital several times. but found out it was stretching ligament pain which is so painful.

maybe see/call ur doctor/midwife to make sure all is ok?

I got terrible pains in my side/hip last pregnancy and it's starting up again. SO painful - when I was in labour I would compare it to the hip pain and the contractions weren't that painful til near the end!!!

pregnancy is hard and scary! always something to worry about. i had my first scare last week!!

more then likely it will be fine and a reason for it, should be fine to wait til tommorow. but if it gets any worse and your worried then pls get checked out today.

just remember your body is stetching, baby is growing.. it can be very normal to get pains.

If you are big (belly-wise) it is probably just swelling.

Try lying on your right side and putting your feet up on a pillow.

Ive had pain in my hip/ lower back/buttock since about 4 weeks preg.

Ive been told it could be sciatica.

Could yours be too ?
