** HELP **
DH and I have had difficulties trying the conceive all our beautiful children. (His spermies weren't swimming properly)
We have been ttc #3 for 2.5 years and have m/c twice last one being Feb 08.
After our last m/c we agreed we would set a time frame, as we can't keep ttc forever.
We have agreed together to try and conceive for another 3 cycles, after the this it's over.
I need help basically.
I've started acupuncture, but what else can I do?

Oh Gracie thats brilliant news (well you know what I mean:D).
I dont really know anything about helping the old fellas old fellas other than I kept buying dh oysters. I am sure that some of the other girls will come on here with some great advice.
All I can tell you what I did to get my bfp quickly. Firstly I lost a lot of weight (not sure if thats even a concern for you). As I needed to get my bfp in a hurry I went on the Tony Ferguson diet to get my weight down quickly.
Secondly I started using OPK's which I got off the internet to pinpoint my ovulation exactly. Turned out I ovulated late in my cycle.
Its a lot of pressure on you hun and I just hope and pray you get your bfp quickly, you deserve it so much

gosh,... thats a lot of pressure! And as you know,..pressure and conception dont usually go hand in hand! Maybe stop trying and see how you go? Although maintaining a healthy lifestyle cant hurt!
Sorry to not be more help.
:hugs::hugs:
Get him on a mens multivitamin if he's not already. Vitamin E, Zinc and several others can improve sperm numbers and motility.

Im not a skinny minny.
But I have recently joined the gym anyway.
I do feel under pressure, but I have to be realistic we can't try forever.
I might need to give him some horny goat weed. To get him in the mood.
We haven't really been ttc since our last m/c, we spoke about a cut off but never agreed on a time.

DH is fine with taking zinc etc.
What else can I give him to take to get him in the mood?
DH told me he doesn't want me taking my temp.
He wants to keep it as romantic as possible not a chore for the next 3 months.
Hmm strange that you taking your temp should affect anything for him. He dosen't even need to know you're doing it!
Have a look at this:
http://infertility.health-info.org/male-infertility/male-infertility-improve-sperm-quality.html
in particular the part about what vitamins etc do what.
Chocolate and strawberries are supposed to be aphrodisiacs, what you do with them can improve your chances of getting a rise out of him too. ;)
Revealing my secret weapon now... :o I only just found this stuff and it's magic! There is a warming massage oil you can get from bras n things, all I have to do is put it on the bedside table and no matter how tired DH is he'll make an exception.
Have fun.

I might be a bit :dizzy: here. What do you do with the massage oil. Does it just sit beside the bed for a nice smell or do you rub it in for pleasure?
I'm sorry I know.....I'm a bit :dizzy:
Thanks for the site I might chat to dh about accupunture.
It's a massage oil, you give each other a massage. You can be as exploratory as you want to with the stuff, start with a back rub with it and work from there. ;) Smells great, even tastes nice. :o

Any vitamins etc you get DH to take will only start to take effect after 3 months because it take 3 months for sperm production to improve. Maybe you could try and change your time limit to 6 months?
Good luck with it!

I assume cos you've been TTC for so long your charting? if not make sure you use OPKs if DHs swimmers arent great you dont want to waste a chance. Try and hold off on BD then BD right on your + OPK that would be my best advise. Also maybe get some pre-seed to help the swimmers stay alive long enough to meet the egg.
:fingerscrossed: it works out for you

Hi, menavit men's multivitamin has had alot of success in improving the quality of men's sperm so I would highly recommend he take that once a day, all he needs to know is that it's a multivitamin
I would also suggest you use pre-seed lubricant, bd every second day (every day will decrease quality of sperm if already low) and use OPK to target the exact timing of ovulating
Good luck, sending you lots of baby dust!

I suggest you both see a naturopath or chinese herbalist. I know heaps of success stories from people that had been ttc for years and who got pg (I was one of them :yelclap:)

Hi Gracie
I'd like to know how you conceived your first two!!! My DH has spermie issues and we've been trying for a year and a half.
We've started a process called NaPro - it's for people who don't want to do IVF.
Our doc has put DH on L-Carnitine because it's the only supplement that has been clinically shown to improve spermies in lots of ways. Also he put him on Menevit just for health.
The team has taught us how to interpret the millions of different kinds of cervical mucus too, so that we don't have to temp or use OPKs to spot ovulation. It's cheap, easy (well fairly easy, especially after you've seen the picture dictionary - yick!!! DH nearly spewed!)
Anyway, to keep the marriage together and not so stressed, they recommend that I watch the CM throughout the day when I wipe - then at night time, DH writes down the most fertile sign (there's a bunch of stickers and codes - bery easy). And that's it.
It becomes very clear, very quickly when the fertile window is and there's no need for me to say "I'm ovulating!!!" because DH knows, and can decide for himself what to do.
It has taken an enormous amount of stress off both of us. We can stop focussing on TTC, and start focusing on simply being aware of our bodies so we have the information we both need to make decisions around TTC - but more importantly to share the load and when it's not the fertile window (which leaps out from the chart) you can chill.
I recommend it. Let me know if you need more info.

Get DH on the Menevit straight away. Make sure you are checking that you are ovulating by using OPK. Other than that, I'd be suggesting to DH that you don't try, but don't take contraceptives either after the three months is up. The positive effect of the Menevit should stay in his system for a while, and once you manage to wind down from TTC and even accept that you may not be having a #3, only then will the pressure be off, and you may actually conceive. You and your DH are young enough to just see what happens for a couple more years. A surpise baby may come as a shock down the track, but I'm sure it would be very much loved and wanted.

My ex husband was told his chances of being able to fertilize an egg were next to none. We decided to give up trying but at the same time he started taking 'Vital Greens' from the health food store to improve his health. 4mths later I was pregnant. Its worth a try!

This might sound a little crazy, but this girl I know she && her husbund had been TTC for 4 years exactly, they were considering starting IVF and due to her husbands cold/flu they said wait til he gets better, due to he needs tests or something, anyway he started taking these tablets, BLACKMORES Cold Relief, Echinacea ACE + ZINC and with in 1month she was preg. ZINC is one the best things for males && females. In this case it really helped his sperm. Even if your husbands doesnt have a cold maybe just take something with ZINC in it. It worked for them,
:goodvibes:Good Luckkkkk:goodvibes:
