hi everyone in a newcomer to bubhub i have reading some great stories and thought what a great way to meet new mums and get great help and feedback from you all.i'm 28 and i have a 2yr old girl and im waiting for my next to arrive im now 12 days overdue and doctor is finally going to induce me on wed 4th may so im excited im finally going to meet my baby, but im a little scared about being induced as i went naturally with my first and ive only heard bad induction stories.ive tried everything except castor oil which i heard that its not good way to go but im intersted to find out about it.is there anyone out who has and what happened? anyway i cant wait to chat with you all and hope somone can help me and to read your experiences!!:wave:

I was 16 days over with my first child when they induced me - yes is was harder but not unbearable. With my second I was 3 days over and determined not to get induced. Tried everything with my first, caster sugar, sex, oysters, etc and nothing worked. With my second I heard that a power walk (or waddle) helped. Went for a hour long power waddle, got back at 12.30 and had first contraction at 2.30 - by 7.30 contractions were 6 minutes apart and delivered healthy baby boy 7.30am the next morning. See how that goes but don't try the caster oil - I did and sat on the toilet for over 12 hours. Wasnt pretty. Good luck. Nene

hey hope all goes well for you. I was induced 2nd time and i had no problems but didnt enjoy it that much your stuck in a bed during the labour. and i found but everyone is diffrent.Good luck......
