So after all the raving on here about the Itti Bitti's I went a brought two of them when they had the seconds sale.
An to be that honest I'm not really all that impressed.
I was expecting them to blow me out of the water.
They aren't any trimmer than my magicalls I laid them side by side and am looking for a ruler or tape measure but can't find one.
And they don't last any longer than a magical either my magicalls last between 3-4 hours.
So all in all I'm really disappointed the only worth while thing was the price.
Don't think I'll be buying anymore.

Did you get the snap-in or the sewn ins
I have one of each and find the snap-ins alot better

It says that you are supposed to wash them 3-ish times before they work better...?
Oh and I was a bit iffy about my itti too. It was SOOO soft and fluffy but.. Seemed really small in size. I got a large.
I was so naughty and bought one.. I REALLY shouldn't have..

 The snap-ins were gone in 2 minutes of the sale, alot of people prefer the snap in, My sewn in isnt as absorbant or trim as the snap ins

I did wash them three times, When I first buy my nappies I always wash them three times.
I was just expecting them to be awesome and really they aren't any better than a magicall.

i LOVE my itti's but i only have snap ins.
different nappies work for different bubs, magic alls last one pee on my bub. DD2 has fallen asleep in her itti a few times and they have lasted 6 hours but honestly i don't really like having a 'day' nappy on bub any longer then 3 - 4 hours.

:iagree: I had a friend who started with cloth but then went to disposables because you wanted her bubs to be able to stay in the one nappy from morning till night! and will only change if bubs does a poo.
I think this is totally weird who leaves there baby in a wet nappy all day?

I have a few, will pm you with a list :) Not sure if they would interest you though:confused:
Ah well, I guess not every nappy works for every bub. I like the Itti Bitti's a lot, personally... I'm sure you'll get most of your money back if you sold them.
I agree that the Magic-Alls are lovely, haven't got any minky's yet but I can't wait to get my hand on some!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who think this is strange, when she first said she was leaving cloth for this reason all the girls that we were with us said yeah I leave my bubs in his/her sposie all day it's brilliant.
I wanted to :barf: but i just politely smiled and didn't say anything else.

Oh that's such a shame!
They are by far the best nappies I have ever tried....and I've tried pretty much every nappy on the market (because I have a nappy addiction :o:o:o)
I'd be happy to use only Itti Bittis.
As others have said, easy to sell off :)

:iagree: I've seen those full disposables hanging down between babies legs and it's not a pretty sight  regardless of disposable or cloth - babies should be changed when wet as well as dirty.

Ewww yuk on leaving a wet nappy on bub all day.
Probably can cause urinary tract infections or something too :(

I much prefer an Itti to a Magic all- But I only have the snap in ones.
Leaving a child in a nappy ALL day is revolting, disposable or not.

Sorry - but i'm truly in :valentine: with my D'lish!!!
Snap in's are a bit trimmer I've found than sewn ins. Did you get mediums or large? The mediums are by far a trimmer fit for DS as their supposed to be like a bikini fit. But his thighs are too chubby so he's in a large.
You won't loose much at all if you decide to sell them!
Leaving a bub in a sposie all day! :barf: That's so wrong!

um ewww that about the most ikky thing i've heared in a while... a bag full of p!ss does not sound too pleasant!
I love my ittis soo much, but to be honest i love the sewn ins more than the snap ins..
I CAAAANT WAIT FOR ITTY NIGHT TIMES!!!

I don't hate them, I'm just not :smiliedance:OMG :smiliedance:
These are the greatest nappies ever
I'm so glad I'm not alone in thinking a bubs should be changed wet or poo more often than once a day.
I can see why you would say that, I love mine but I do have snap-ins.
I change DS every 3 hours or when he has done a poo or if he seems very wet.
Those poor bubs having amonia next to their skin all the time, but be horrid.
Oh and I was a bit iffy about my itti too. It was SOOO soft and fluffy but.. Seemed really small in size. I got a large.
Thats the point though? Itti Bitti's are one if not the trimmest cloth nappies out there- they fit under jeans etc. They may be little but they hold a lot.
They aren't any trimmer than my magicalls I laid them side by side and am looking for a ruler or tape measure but can't find one.
And they don't last any longer than a magical either my magicalls last between 3-4 hours.
As some other posters have said different nappies work for different bubs.
I cant believe you get 3-4 hrs out of a magicall! Thats awesome- I'm lucky to get half a pee out of mine:laughing:. Yet, my itti's will last 4 or so hours if needed.
They are a lot trimmer than my magicalls I have here but last a whole lot longer too- win win for me LOL.
I love my Itti's and use pretty much only those but different strokes for diff folks and all that.
I'm sure if you sold them you'd get most of your money back.
Sorry they didn't work too well for your bub but maybe give them a few more washes first and see how they go?
And no....I dont work for Mrs Itti:laughing:

you a lot better then me, i woudl have probably said "lets attach your toilet to you for the day and see how you like it"
but yeah i am in total agreeance with you, bubs should be changed WAY more often then that, its just awful.
oh and i relaised i lied before :o. i said i only had snap ins but i forgot i bought some sewn ones the other day in the seconds sale (i sign that you are addicted to nappies is buying so many you forget what ones you have:laughing:). i have only washed them twice so haven't used them yet.....shall see how they go tomorrow :fingerscrossed:

OMG what kind of person only changes their babies once a day  their poor little bubba must have horrible nappy rash! I change Ollie every couple of hours, even if he's only done a little wee.
anyway bit OT, I quite like my itti's, I have snap ins though.

That is neglectful and lazy!!!!!!!
Blergh. Gross. I was holding a friends baby once, and he smelled like pee. I told them and asked if his nappy needed changing and they said "No, I changed him 3 hours ago... unless he's done a poo".... ick.
I think the fluffyness of d'lishs makes them not so trim... I have just PUL nappies that I have made that are trimmer and just as, if not more absorbent... but the minkee is noice!!
Oh I have to disagree Sorry:o
I just got seven itti bitti d'lish from the baby expo and I am in LOVE :valentine:.
I found the one magicall (sp?) I have has always leaked but these have lasted for hours and are oh so cute!!!
As everyone says every baby is different I just had to share my love for itti bitti:thumbsup:

I'm glad I'm not the only one Kara!
I have 4 d'lish & while they are a great nappy, I have never thought there were worth the hype. I think they just fit my DS funny. I am hoping they will get better as he gets older.
I actually much prefer my MagicAlls especially the minky one, though I mean the new version with the bamboo booster, not the old ones. The old ones only last one wee on DS now, but I did find them great for his as a newborn!

First post in this forum so... Hello everyone.
I actually prefer my Magic Alls to my Itti Bittis.
They both seem to be fairly trim but the Itti Bittis leak through the legs. DD has been in medium for a couple of months now. I have 1 x snap in and 6 x sewn ins.
I have both the old and new magic alls but I've cut open the old ones so I can add my own inserts and they work fine.

I have 2 itti's - 1 snap in and 1 sewn in, both medium and I just got a medium minky magic-all today. I tried it on her quickly before I put it in the wash.
I think I like the trim fit of the itti d'lish - not sure if I prefer the snap in or sewn in, they both seem good and hold heaps. She has done an explosive poo in the itti snap in twice and it was totally contained both times. By explosive I mean - she only goes every 3 or 4 days and is fully breastfed so they are big and runny!!! (Sorry TMI )
The magic-all looks bigger on her so it will probably last her longer - the snaps are done up on the overlap but with the itti they aren't overlapped (hope this makes sense?).
I also think I like the convenience of the snap in rather than stuffing the pocket of the magic-all. But as I haven't used it yet I could be wrong about this.
They look quite similiar when you look online but they are quite different when you actually get to look close up. Who would have thought choosing a nappy could be so hard!

I have to agree with the OP, ittis are one of my least favourite nappies. They're OK, they're very well made, but I don't think they're as absorbant as our Pockets (Haute and bumGenius) and they often leak poo out the crotch, which is just too trim for my DS (his bumcheeks stick out either side of the nappy despite the fact that he's a skinny little boy!). They just don't fit him properly. And he poos alot, so I try not to use them - luckily I only have 3. But one of my friends loves them for her son and her entire stash is itti bittis. I think she has over 50!! Horses for courses, as they say.
