Hi everyone

I am an SA ex-pat (:( i miss SA) Anyway, I'll be spening a bit of time there on & off over the next 10 months whislt DF is away. I'm wondering if anyone knows of any second hand shops that sell decent baby goods? I'll probably hire a car seat, but I'll need a pram, a porta cot & a high chair. I'll be staying at Modbury, my parents work at Smithfield, so anywhere North of the City is good.

Sorry Sharvs - don't know any North of the city, but I have found a heaps good one near Marion. I'm getting my port-a-cot & high chair from there.
It's called "New Mother's Cupboard".

there is a place called baby love at the craigmore shops on yorktown rd. and what kind of things are you looking for cause i have stuff that i dont use.

there's another New Mothers Cupboard shop on Main North Road near Gepps Cross - opposite Harvey Norman.

I also believe that the red cross shop on North East Road (near Greenacres) specialises in large second hand baby goods.. Iv'e not been inside but i've had a look whenever we drive past it. Looks quite good and a majority of the stuff looks incredibly new:thumbsup:

You could always try The Baby Place on Main North Road, across the road from Parafield Airport, if you come off McIntyre Road, it's about 50m down on the left hand side. Good Luck :D :smiliedance: :D
