Logan Hospital

Does anyone know anythng about the Logan Hospital?

My sister had her son there 6yrs ago and hated the place...she was left in the birthing room for 4hrs...long story, her son was to be placed straight into foster care as she wasn't planning on keeping him...it seemed like they took her son away and then forgot about her :mad:

I know alot of people who have had bubs there and some loved the place, others hated it...

I had both my bubs at the Mater, even tho the Logan is a 10min drive and the Mater is more like 30mins.

Theres heaps of people on here who have had bubs there recently...tho they are probably not around this late...I'm sure someone will have details for you :)

Where do you live? It may be worth looking into a couple of hospitals and then deciding which one you want to use.

My neighbour just had a little boy there about 4 weeks ago and she said all was good. She liked the midwives, got one cranky doctor but the others were good. She found sharing a room tiring and was glad to get home for some quiet but if I go public, I'll probably go there as well (not that I'm even pregnant yet:laughing: ).

a school friend had both her kids there in logan hospital.

I had my first son there and had a fine time, though very little support as I was bottle feeding.
My girlfriend had her little girl there 6 months later and while I won't go into what happened she had a very traumatic time.
My DS2 was born at RBWH, but that was as we'd moved to the northside by this stage.
