I have a 9month girl she is like a spider, cannot entertain her to lie back and put a nappy on..
How long does it take everyone else, and any tips on keeping one still to put them on and get them dressed!!!

How long? Depends what's in it!
A friend of mine has a soft strap thing on her change table. Designed to keep baby from falling, but it would keep one still as well ;).
I give my dd a toy to play with while changing to keep her occupied. Small rubber block, bathtime ducky or something else washable.
Counting while doing up buttons also works to keep her little legs still & she's a champion kicker.:)
Good luck.

Anywhere from a few minutes to about ten minutes.
Usually very quick about 2 mins for a wet nappy and maybe 5 mins for a dirty nappy.
Altho I have a wriggler in DS2 so it can take longer as I have to keep pulling him back:rolleyes::laughing:
Nappy I can do quickly!
Its dressing him he hates and trys to wriggle way! So that takes awhile.

Nappy I can do fairly quickly, dd is mostly happy to have her nappy done, tends to play with her feet. After bath getting nappy on is a nightmare, she crawls everywhere and screams when you lay her down to put nappy on. We don't have a change table so it makes it a bit harder. Getting dress i am becoming a expert at dressing her on her tummy. Fairly easy once you get the hang of it.

well coop is 14mths and we have had so much trouble getting nappies on and off for a couple of months now, takes me about 2mins to get one off as he cant keep still long enough and to get one on him, anything from 5-15mins usually. he just gets so frustrated no matter what i give him to play with
:hair:Too long:hair: DS is 8 months old and a total worm!!!! He wriggles the whole time yelling Mum and Dadda and doing the fishy while trying to jump off the change table. He is nuts lol.
it probably takes about 1min to change DD's wet nappy, and for a soiled one, depending on what the situation is with the soiling, can take between 3 and 5mins
my DD is 11mths this week, and she still just lays there like a 4mth old baby
I've worked in childcare and most babies/toddlers are very quick and easy to change. The only prob Ive ever had is kids with bad nappy rash crying and wriggling. I think having a routine would help. Like change at the same times (roughly) and same place (when at home) each day.

Nights are the worse for us and it usually takes both myself and DF to get her nappy on. I lean over her and chuck my boob in her mouth and he puts the nappy on. Its the only way we can put it on at night.
During the day doesnt bother me bc she is TT at the moment and runs around nudie most of the time but when we are leaving the house it would probably take me about 2-3 mins to get it on.

We did have a change table, but she was trying to get off it all the time and bumping her head on the sides. so have been doing it on the floor with her changing mat. No matter what I give her to play with she doesnt want it, Have tried a strap but she just screams. This morning I tried putting her nappy on whilst she was stood up against the chair. That was fun lol.
Now she has learnt how to stand up against things that is all she wants to do. Cant even get her to sit in the bath, so now she has showers!!! She is just a complete full on nutter!! Im sure they must have e numbers in her formula and food!!!!

Forever. Upto 20 minutes. DS cannot sit still!!! Oh well.
I've got one of those worm child hybrids too! With a book for distraction and if the moons are in alignment and we've had no major upsets in the half hour preceeding the change we can usually get through it in about two minutes. Soiled nappies require back-up so I call DH for reinforcement.
On a bad day a change (nappies and clothes) needs to be done in stages. A sock here, a singlet there, a shirt whilst dad pulls faces, pants whilst the cat is parading around, jumper when she's forgotten about getting dressed.
I have the foam change mat top on the floor now (rather than on the change table) and the other day DH was putting on his jeans and he flopped down on the change mat and writhed around like a lunatic in front of DD going "I'm being you, I'm being you" and she was in hysterics laughing so hard.
