For the past few days, when DS drinks his bottle, he'll cough and splutter during it and spit some up. But he still wants it, but if he drinks, he can't stop coughing.

He was teething badly, but he seems alot better now and is eating like normal again. I don't know whats happened?

DS is nearly 13 months and on cows milk.

Can anyone help?

what sort of teat is he using? I found avent's flow to be alot faster than others, and made my dd splutter like that too. She also does it when using variable flow, as when shes teething she tends to suck harder and gets too much (also happens with normal teats) It could also be that the teat is worn.
Have you tried a bit of bonjella before a bottle?

I was going to ask about the teat too. Is it possible its torn? If he's been teething he may have chewed a hole in it and its flooding his mouth. :)

I'm using the No4 teats, but DS been using those for ages - although i think I've been using the teats for about 5 or so months, Should I try new ones?

He has been teething think his molars are coming, but he seems okay now

I even tried a sippy cup last night - the same thing has happened.

I'll try the bonjella before the bottle tonight. Thanks.

mmmm...He has been chewing on them abit after his bottles. But I have 5 bottles and 2 babyclub ones, and he does the same with the babyclub ones. I checked the teats last night - they seemed okay.

Mmmm...might go and buy a couple of new teats to try, see if that helps.

Thank you :)

Yeah its probably a good idea to change teats every few months  which is why Im glad I use the cheaper Pur teats lol.

Do they fit in the avent bottles?

No they are for the standard neck bottles (like happy baby, thats what I use them in) Im not sure if there are any other teats other than avent that fit in avent bottles.
