Hello all February Mums :)

I'm very excited to say I am due with no. 3 'bubble' on 7 February 2006. We've been trying since January this year and we feel very special to be given another little one. It's amazing how all that hope and anxiety that accompanies trying to conceive becomes such a feeling of contentment and excitement when you finally succeed. My two little ones, Quinn 4yrs and Ella 2yrs are both VERY excited too.
Looking forward to chatting with all you other Mums due in February. Cheers :)

Hi,

I'm also expecting baby number 3 :). I feel extremely lucky to have been blessed with our third baby :D. We decided at Easter to begin trying in May and I found out last week I was pregnant! I'm Mum to Frazer 6yrs and Clayton 4yrs.

We're all very excited and my boys have already placed an order for a baby sister :). So on or around the 8th of February 2006 we'll know. Looking forward to more chats! Laney :).

Hi Laney :)

Very exciting isn't it. We haven't told anyone yet, we wanted to keep it a special little secret just for us for a little while. We're thinking of waiting until after our 19 week ultrasound and we know if we're having a boy or girl, before we spead the news. My little boy wants a 'big boy' and I don't think my little girl minds either way, she's just happy to keep telling us she has a baby in her tummy, whenever she gets the chance, my son does it too. My husband is convinced we're having a girl, but I think we're having another boy. Don't really mind as long as it's one or the other :p .
I've been feeling great so far, just a bit tired from time to time. Nice to have a chat, hope to talk again soon.

Hi
I am also due in feb around the 10th. I too am very very excited!! I cant keep a secret so everyone i know already knows, even though i am only 6 weeks on thursday.

I already have a 2yr old daughter Mikayla and she doesnt seem interested in knowing about the baby yet, keeps saying ''Sister, sister"

I am hoping for a boy but would love 2 girls. My partner and I have already made a short list of names:

BOYS: Tyler Beau, Kaleb Tyler or Beau Tony

GIRL: Aiesha Chloe, Bella Kate or Kira

Hi and congratulations!
I am due for my second baby (have 6 year old daughter, Ella) on the 12th of February. We are very excited as this will be our 1st child together and is a very exciting time for Ella as she has been waiting a mighty long time to become a big sister. I am sure that she will do a great job too as she has had a lot of practice with her cousin.

I am feeling well for the moment although having to go to bed a little earlier than usual. I did not have any morning sickness with Ella so hopefully I will be lucky again.

Take care and post soon

Dear Sarah,

I like you had a fairly faint positive line and I decided to go to the dr's and confirm straight away. The blood test confirmed the positive result and i was about 4 weeks as my period was only just due.

I would have it confirmed as there is a high chance that you are. They usually say that a positive is a positive and a negative can still be a positive.

Good Luck Sarah and let me know how you go. :)

:) WOW CONGRATULATIONS all you February Mums

I too had faint lines initially and the doctors test at 14 days was negitive. I tested at home 3 days later and the line was much stronger, 3 days later my doctor confirmed positive. YAY. Confusing process isn't it. Am I, aren't I??? I'm just enjoying the waiting game at the moment and keeping busy running around after Quinn and Ella. I told my Mum today and was a little disappointed with her response, oh well, I guess no-one will be as happy about our news as we are. We like Seth for a boy at the moment and Maya or Milly for a girl. Guess we still have plenty of time to decide. I'm looking forward to finding out the sex at around 19 weeks. I found out with both my children and wouldn't have had it any other way. I'm calling my new little one 'bubble' at the moment, saying 'it' just doesn't seem right.

Will chat again soon, looking forward to hearing all about your pregnancies as the months progress.

:) Bye quinellasmum+1

Hi Bec

Thankyou for your reply .. sounds very similar to what I had .. I am getting a blood test to confirm preg tomorrow fingers crossed .. When you did your preg test did you get a strong line? .. I have a fairly visable line at 12 dpo . and stressing that my HGC levels are really high which could indicate multiples ..
If anyone else got a strong line at at 12 dpo can you post a relay so I can relax ..

Elizabeth, these pains sound like it is just muscle. Does the pain radiate enywhere? Like around to your back? I had pain real low in on the right side almost to the groin which lasted a week. I worried myself silly, went to the Docs and said it was muscle. He did a test, mad me do a semi situp then pushed on the spot it was hurting and BAM PAIN...muscle. I remembered that i had done a huge sneeze sometime that week which hurt alot and he said that it probably just a pulled or torn muscle.

Just some info, when a person experiences pain in their right upper abdominal region this is where you Gallbladder is, not saying that that is the problem just some info. But the muscle i was talking about runs all the way down your abdomen from rib area to pelvis and during pregnancy this can be aggrevated.

Still see a Doc of course if your worried, just dont stress tooooo much.

Belly rubs to everyone

Hi Meg

Thanks for your reply

My pain is on the left side .... its pretty high ... its not unbearable just a constant stitch like pain ... Im worried sick condering I tried to fall preg for a year with OPK..

If the pain was in the middle stomach area I wouldnt be alarmed but because its on my left Im worried .. because I no this month my left ovary ovulated because I always get cramps on either side of my overies when I ovulate .... Do you no of any other forums I can look at that may be informative ?

Hi,
I am due on Feb 18th. It will be our first child together and I also have a daughter who is 7. She will be a wonderful big sister and has waited ages too. I am trying to relax at the moment as I have had some spotting but have had a scan and have been rerassured that all is well. I don;t care how sick I am as long as all is well! ( I may take that back in a few weeks!)

Hi Daisy,

Congratulations!

I did speak too soon and am now experiencing some mild morning sickness. Nothing too drastic but just enough to be annoying, that queasiness that is always there in the background. I think that feeling tired doesn't help the nausea either. I didn't have this with my daughter so I must have been very lucky.

I hope all is well with you and I would love to keep in touch and find out how things are going.

Take care :)

Hi

I am just about 7 weeks preg and feeling very very sick. i cant stand it and to make things worse i am currently doing 6 wks of hospital placements for nursing degree so i am really tired and i just cant get enough food, it is that only thing that makes me feel better. i hope i dont put on more weight this time as for my fist daughter i put on like 20kgs, that lots.

okay.. tummies calling for more food... :o

Sar
22-06-2005, 12:33 PM
Hi Elizabeth,

You don't need to scare me about having twins since it did skip a generation and both my grandparents are twins (on my mums side)...

I had another blood test on Tuesday (21/6) and i have to go tomorrow (Thurs 23/6) morning and get blood taken for a HCG level reading... Im crossing my fingures that it has gone up... even though it was high before (1,224) i don't care i just want that level to keep going up & up (as im sure everyone does)...

Fingures & Toes are crossed for good HCG level....
Kind Regards

Hi everyone :)
Is anyone feeling exhausted, I don't remember it being like this(I guess I've glossed over a few things in my memory). Forgot about that moody thing too, I turned into a grumpy monster yesterday, which is not like me at all, I'm usually pretty easy going and happy. Eating like a monster too, very, very hungry, plus keeps that queasy feeling at bay. Sorry to carry on, just wondering if everyones feeling that way too, knowing someone else has gone a little nuts would make me feel a little more normal. Eight weeks tomorrow and no problems(other than already mentioned), hoping all is going well for you all.
Bye for now

My doctor confirmed on May 27th that I am pregnant, and Today I had my first ultrasound to check my dates, Which we now know were exact and I am 8 weeks+5 days pregnant making my due date Feb 1st 2006 we are very excited and we also got to hear bubby's heartbeat for the first time today, We already have Two boys Hayden 7 & Keegan 5, they are both looking very forward to our new baby, and have ordered a baby sister!

I have never found out the sex of any of my other babies before and was wondering what is the earliest this is possible, does anyone know?

I can't wait to read about how all our pregnancies progress, congratulations to you all and good luck, Larissa

Hi Jessika,
I too am sick, this is my fourth pregnancy and my first ( daughter) I was sick, with my two boys, I wasn't so bad but this time all I want to do is sleep, and I wake at 5.30 every morning nauseaus.

One thing I have never had before though is dizziness, this time it is really bad my blood pressure is normal, so I guess it's nothing to worry about, but it is so annoying, I normally help out alot at school but at the moment I just can't thats why I had to tell the boys so early, as they were wondering why mum is always to sick to do anything with them.

So don't feel like your whinging I bet alot of us in here can identify with what your going through, lets just hope it won't last much longer.

Take care Larissa

Hello Feb Mums!

I am a newbie and our first baby is due on the 25th Feb 2006. We are still a bit shell-shocked as I have had a lot of problems with endometriosis and were told it would be very difficult to concieve and that I we'd need 2 years of trying and then some more surgery :(

Bit of a surprise when I got pregnant after one attempt! We are both really pleased but still very nervous as there is a greater risk of problems for us (particularly from ectopic pregnancy) so we are holding our breath until our first scan next Monday to rule this out. I've been having some pian but the Ob has reassured me that it's fine unless it's severe and accompanied by spotting so keeping fingers firmly crossed!

We moved to Australia from the UK almost 2 yrs ago so it's pretty hard without my family here and not knowing the system here but we have a lovely Ob, I've had my bloods done and we are booked into Frances Perry House (did the tour last night - it looks fab!) for the birth so all organised

Morning sickness hit this week (though it's more like all day sickness) though it's not too bad as long as I eat CONSTANTLY :D

Love to hear from other Feb mums...

Larissa

Hi Pigletto,

Congratulations on your pregnancy, your little one sounds trully ment to be.
I to have found I have to eat all time to stop the sickness, I dread to think what my next weigh in will reveal, Well good luck with your ultrasound, keep us posted, I see my OB next Wednesday, and will get booked in for the Nuchal Translucency scan ( I think thats at 12weeks) I am still very apprehensive as I don't have the best obstetric history, but I am just concentrating on the positives.
Well good luck and talk to you soon Larissa

Thankyou for the info on the ultrasound Quinellasmum+1

Well it looks like im going to be graduating for the March thread to the Febuary thread! My doctor told me i was due on the 10th of March, but according to sites on the net im due the 24th of Feb! My last period was the 20 of may and if i ovulated two weeks after that i means i concieved on the 3th june! I have a doctors appoitment in 2 weeks so im going to ask for an ultrasound, I asked for one when i first found out but he said because my period was always on time then i didnt need one! So hopefully that means in 9 weeks and im hear for the long hall!

Hi Sar, hope all is well with you! Looks like im having my bub in Feb as well! Looking foward to hearing from you :)

Hi Ladies :)
I am pregnant with my first bub and I was originally in the January thread but my Doc has since put my Due Date back a week to the 3rd February. Looking forward to chatting with you all over the coming exciting months...

Has anyone else got quite a belly yet? I'm quite a bit surprised at how much mine has popped out already - although I do love it! ;) It started at about 8 weeks! I'm a size 6 - 8 so I figure it's got nowhere else to go but out! I can still wear my stretchy pants & jeans (not a chance with my fitted ones!) but have to leave the button undone, or sometimes the fly down too when I'm sitting.
Boobies are lookin' pretty fantastic though!!

I'm 13 weeks at the moment and looking forward to my first real doctors appt. this time around, at 15 weeks. Its a clinic appt. at the Royal Womens Hospital in Brisbane, just with the midwives this time around and I can't wait to hear my little ones heartbeat, will make it all seem a bit more real. I have my ultrasound booked in at 19 weeks and we're wondering whether we have a little Master or a little Miss, have to wait and see. We have been offered a place at the Birthing Centre RWH and are really looking forward to going up to say Hi. We had our first two there as well and it was a great experience both times, our midwife was fantastic. We just have to have the ok from the doctor at the clinic, I guess we'll make that appt. when there soon. Things are going to start getting interesting now and can't wait. Hope everything is going well for you all. Thanks for listening, just wanted to share a little. Hope to chat again soon.
Cheers

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all well.

I am currently 17weeks pregnant with my second bub and I am worrying myself sick about whether or not I can feel baby moving.

I am having an ultrasound in 2 weeks time and I am planning on taking hubby and my 6 year old daughter with me. My concern is that I am sure I should be feeling definite movements by now and am not so sure that I have. I am worried because I thought that I would feel them sooner the second time round and also because 3 years ago I had a miscarriage.

I will lie in bed with my hands on my belly just willing the baby to move so that I can feel it. Sometimes I think that I can but more often than not I will put the twinge down to wind.

My question to you all is: Should I go to my Dr and have her listen for the heartbeat?

My main worry is that when it comes time for my daughter to come to the ultrasound that they will discover that there is no heartbeat (or some sort of problem) and she will be in the room. I would rather find out beforehand if something is wrong.

Sorry to sound so negative and worried but it is ruling my mind at the moment and I suppose I may be looking for someone to help ease my mind.

Thanks for reading.

Hi there jackieb76, i'm sorry you're in such a stressful situation!

My advice, go to the doctors! All this worry and stress isn't good for you or bub. Talking to your dr and possibly hearing the heartbeat will ease your mind!

Remember that dopplers sometimes don't pick up a heartbeat until around 20 weeks. Or so i'v been told but i heard my baby's heart at 12 weeks.

Good luck and try to relax.
