I have never been to one, and thought this year I might give it a go it seems interesting and since im UTD with #3 I thought perfect timing, is anyone else going?

Is it really good and will it be worth the 2 hour travel?

What happens there?

It's an expo, so there are a lot of stalls selling and promoting their products - Bubhub will be there again I assume.

Dorothy will be there putting on a little show, over priced food and drink is available from the cafe - I suggest you take a picnic.

There are kids activities in the centre of the building - books, blocks etc - there is also an animal farm.

It's a good day if you want to spend some money on baby products. You can get some things a little cheaper than in shops/online but if you don't want to purchase anything then I would say it's not worth the 2 hour drive to just look. IYKWIM.

Its a good day out but it gets a bit hard with the little ones as your constantly trying not to get run over by prams.

Definately overpriced food and most times theres no empty chairs so you end up sitting on the floor but the sales are good if your looking to spend.

Lots of freebies too. Nearly every stall will hand you a bag full of samples to try. Sometimes they double up as you walk past and give you more. :D

Oh and lots of competitions you can enter too.

Overall, I think its definatley worth it!

I went to it 2 years ago as I was PG with DS, I got a few bargains and lots of free samples which was great.

It's best to go during a weekday if possible as it's not as busy as you do tend to get run down by the millions of prams lol.

I'm planning on going again (3rd year in a row). I've organised DH to get the day off work (I'm going on the friday with my mother's group mums) so that he can look after then kids, cause I'm going to be 39-40 weeks pregnant and I don't think I could cope with trying to wrangle the kids.
I think it is definately worth a 2 hr trip (It's a minimum 1.5 hr trip for me). Heaps of freebies and good deals.

I went when I was pregnant, to one in Perth, and found it great for comparing products. Particularly prams. As a first time mum I had no clue what was good and I actually stopped other mums to ask them about the prams they were pushing!
