I made some great ones out of double muslin. You can buy it at spotlight and it's cheap. It has small squares all over it. I cut up pieces about 10 x 6 inches (approx.) and just hemmed them. It's a great fabric to use as it is strong enough but also thin enough to get into the creases and folds.
The stuff I got is white but I think they have coloured muslin as well now.

I use face washers as wipes instead. I found some really cute ones with Winnie The Pooh on them!

I made up a heap of wipes out of my spare terry towelling nappies and some flanellette wraps I no longer needed.. I cut thme to 20cm square so they fit in my huggies wipes container when folded in half and overlocked thme all together. So if its just a wee I can use the flannellette side and if I need something to wipe a bit harder I use the terry side. They're perfect!
