Good question! It will be interesting to see what others respond with..

I actually ordered a silver pendant & chain from the advertisement on this website just today, it will have our daughters name, Liliana, and her dob stamped onto it, they look really good and it will be something my husband will love (hopefully)

DP and I were only talking about this the other day because we always like to get each other something that we want. DP is seeing the doc next week to talk about getting a vasectomy so I joked with him and said that was his father's day present:laughing:. He will probably just get something for his car or some new clothes. He keeps saying he wants some new clothes.

 I told DH that i would buy him a pile of nappies and hand over the boys! ROFL... cos that is the day he can change nappies all day! (he has only done one of Joels in 6 weeks!) and play dad.

Nah truthfully... i haven't even had time to think of what we will do/get.

Is there anything that he needs, wants or is really into Ellie13??? I would start there or ask a friend if they know of anything if you think he would chat with his mates about that kind of thing

I am planning on building and setting up a pt area outside for James to use to pt all his clients...been wanting to for a while but it is all money and when it is not money it is time, but I am going to make the time and my in laws will hopefully help out a little with the cost, I know it sounds like a huge thing to do and it is, but we have always been big on surprising each other and it will also be a bit of a wedding anniversary present too as it is our 5 year wedding anniversary next month! Wow 5 years!

I haven't really thought too much into it. I know he desperately wants the xbox 360 so I said that I would get that for him. We looked into it and it comes to about $800 for the package so he decided no way!!! It does look like he just bought a huge tv though through work.

He was a little shocked as it was just banter and they actually ordered one for him (bulk buy) so he said definitely not getting the xbox for a while. I was thinking of getting mum and dad to bring over a really nice bottle of French wine that he loves. I can then get something else to go with it. He doesn't wear jewellery apart from his wedding ring so that was out.

Maybe a really nice item of clothing or something as we never buy ourselves new clothes and he lives in his suit due to working long hours!!

I ordered Chloe too - it looks ace, I'm a bit concerned that the chain won't be long enough, DH has a very thick neck!!! But I suppose we can get another longer one if need be. I ordered the longest one they had! I really hope he likes it!

They are nice pendants, very classy, the chain is good also, but i dont think its long enough, will see when DH tries it on.
As far as time taken for it to arrive, the pendant turned up really quickly, I ordered it on friday last week and it arrived this wed/thursday (I have a PO box and hadnt checked it til thursday, but I had a confirmation email on the monday to say it was posted!), so it was a very quick turnaround time.
All set to go for fathers day now!

Its my hubby's b'day on the Monday before fathers day and I got him a really nice necklace for a pendant that is really sentimental to him. So I can't really go for a piece of jewellery. I was thinking of getting a photo of Ariel put on a coffee mug. He loves his coffee and has been looking for a really good mug for a couple of months now, and he just hasn't found one.
Otherwise I was thinking of getting him a photo of himself firedancing printed up on canvas.
Actually I really should get onto that. Hmmm.

I usually get totally stumped too on what to get my hubby Paul and my Dad, but last year I managed to find them something they actually did not already have for a change! I sent them both on this V8 race car experience (http://www.redballoondays.com.au/experience/VRE742) thing and now they won't shut up about it. Not sure what to get them this year, but it's going to be hard to top that.... maybe I'll just get them something boring so I don't have to hear about it for the rest of the year!:)
