Hi everyone
I just need to vent .Im having a horrible pregnacy .
I am nearly 31 weeks and have
unstable pelvis
carpel tunnel
throid problems
polly ( to much fluid )
sweeling of feet ,hands face.
Last night I had a small bleed went to hospital and they did all sorts of tests .I was told Ihad the chance of going into pre term labour.
I was messured and I messure in at 35 to 36 weeks pregnant due to all the amnio fluid.
Has anyone one elce had polly here and what did they do for it>?
I had it with one of my other pregnancies but it was in another country so I have no idea what they do for it here .
Anyways if you got this far thanks for reading .

Its a pain isnt it? (literally!) I had polyhydramnosis last pregnancy because of bub's heart condition but there wasnt anything you could do to get rid of it short of having it drained which holds a risk in itself - but it did resolve itself around the same gestation you are from memory. They do say keep drinking water as this wont affect AF volume and you dont want to dehydrate anyway. I also had the swelling and pubic symphysis pain which only went away after bub had arrived, although lying in a warm bath, heatpacks and keeping your legs slightly elevated seemed to help a bit.

Hang in there. It should go away soon and if not, it wont be too long till your baby arrives and hopefully it all fully resolves by then. IMO the third trimester is definitely the most trying!!

Hey,
I have not had too much experience with the polly but I too have most of the other complaints you listed and I'm 28 weeks. It sucks being in pain from the pelvic instability and so uncomfortable not to mention all of the extra worry you have just wanting to make sure everything is OK.
All I can say is hang in there and try to be positive. It sucks and it's really hard and you feel like it will never end but it will get better and there is such a great prize at the end.
:hugs:My thoughts are with you.

Hi I was wondering did you have a natural birth or a c section. The last time I had polly I didnt seem to get as big as fast .I think it may be a worse case this time .Im wondering if I will need a c section for a safer delivery

thanks again to you both for your replies
