looking for Baby model agency in Melbourne

Hi everyone! I would really welcome any experiences, good and bad, of baby modelling agencies. Which ones are reputable and which ones to steer clear from. Would greatly appreciate any input.

hi there,all my 4 children have been with bubblegum from babies to children my daughter was with them from 2 years to 14 years and i found them great. my youngest who is a boy ,wasnt very interested, so by the time he was 6 years he finished up but that was his choice. even now my 14 year old boy says he would like to return they did not make enough to retire on but enough to make it worthwhile just make sure what ever company you go with they are a member of the childrens casting assoc. like bubblegum ( look them up in the yellow pages) are there are a lot of

I modelled for them when I was a kid (many many moons ago!), I still have the embarrassing TV ad's and catalogues to prove it :laughing: are you old enough to remember the Department store Fosseys? I did lots for them

hi ,yes i remember jackie jenkinson she was the reason we went with b/gum, lovely lady ,going by the vcaa website, they must be located now in sorrento, do not no if she is still running the agency :)

Does that mean interviews will be held at Sorrento?

No not necessarily, we had an interview with her assistant in Malvern. I think it depends where they will be at the time.

oh cool thanks. And how did you and your little one go?

She went very well. We applied to several agencies, and then accepted interviews with our top three choices. B/gum was in our top three so we went and had the interview, and the girl was very nice. DD was then acepted into all three agencies, however we did decide to go with Munchkins. Althoug, our decision was between b/gum and Munchkins, so I would say both are probably great.
