Sleeping & teething problems?? Need Help

Im not sure if this is in the right thread but my 4 1/2 month old son has been sleeping through the night (7-9 hours straight than up for a quick feed about 5 than back asleep for another 2-3 hours) since he was 8 weeks old. The past 2-3 weeks he has been waking up a couple of times during the night and is really unsettled. He is already starting to teeth about the time this all started, though im not sure if this is the reason for the disturbed sleep. If it is does anyone know if once he's cut the teeth he'll go back to sleeping through the night. He also only catnaps (about 30 minutes) during the day. Need some help am so tired. :confused:

Teething might definately be the cause but be warned, they change thier routine on you without a bit of notice.:) My DD was going six solid hours then 3 more. then all night 7pm to 6am, then every 3 or four hours, nowdays every night is a new one. sometimes all night, sometimes she wakes 2 or 3 times.
If it is the teething, it could go on for weeks and weeks before he gets a tooth through.
Are you using any teething gel? SM-33 is a good one. Also you could try the all natural braurers teehing relief. You can get that from the chemist.
Your checklist for teething is:
Rosy cheecks
lots of drool
grabbing at his mouth
grabbing at his ear
and if he has a dummy and usually sucks it, he might be pushing it out.

My DD just got her top 2 teeth in the last couple of days and it wasn't pleasant for either of us . i feel ur sleepless pain:)
