Is this normal?

Hi,

My nine and a half month old son is cutting his second tooth, and the gum is bleeding. I'm just wondering if this is normal? This didn't happen when he cut his first tooth 3 weeks ago.

One of my daughters had a little blood (it looked like a tiny red spot) with at least one of her new teeth. I figured because she had bit down a bit hard on it or something. But it was just a tiny red spot, so I was not very worried about it.

Just keep an eye on it more than likely its been from when bubs has bitten on his teething rings or the likes & it has sort of split where the new tooth is trying to come through. I wouldnt worry too much unless it keeps happening or its bleeding profusely then id take him off to the doctors !
