Any Kiwi's living in Marlborough??

Any one in Nelson, Blenheim??? We are considering a move to be closer to family as I have a severly disabled (but very happy) child. Am looking into medical things now but would love to hear from some locals.

One thing I do know is that they have a pretty good special ed school there - a friend of mine has just moved down there to teach there and he is anawesome special ed teacher....maybe helpful for down the track.....

The other thing that while it may be difficult at first to work out how to access assistance and resources for your child in a new place - the support from family is unmeasurable....

It's just such a beautiful area, Starship children's is referring me to a paed in the Nelson area to find out about hospital issues, There are already a few meds and her milk not available there but can probably b worked thru, my DD has 5 medical teams, it was about physio, Ot , speech, hearing aids, respite that kind of thing, do u know anyone with children with special needs in the area??? Special needs school sounds good!!!
