DD is 1yo and unimmunised. Should she be excluded from contact with other 1yo's who have just had their immunisations? if so, for how long?
Or is it impossible for her to get anything from her immunised friends?
Should this be a concern or not?:)

I wouldnt be worried about keeping her away from anyone because in reality that would mean never leaving the house.
The fact is she could come into contact with anyone who has just recently had vax's or even someone who has had or is carrying one of the bugs iykwim.
Squeak has only had a few vax's due to his health & wont be getting anymore at this point. We use public transport as we dont have a car so the fact is if he is gonna get something he is gonna get it.
This is where your research & knowledge on why you didnt vax should come into play. If you feel more comfortable with her getting something then its no biggie iykwim ! We know that Squeak getting a few things wont be good but compared to his reactions etc its the better risk as he may never get anything iykwim. Now if they only did seperate vax's

Yep this would be good - im sure alot of parents would agree on this one:yes:
We havent had DD vacinated due to her brothers reaction to his 12mth needles. It was the scariest experience in his life :gloomy:

It's always good to minimise contact with loads of children. Especially for un-vaccinated children. They do need to come into contact with various viruses and gersms to strengthen their immune systems but some illnesses children pass on are not going to serve them. Things like stomach viruses for example.
It's always good to keep your child away from day care etc. until their immune systems have had time to strengthen.
Only where it is practical of course.
I know it doesn't suit everyone. Trips to the shop are fine, but allowing children to mingle in large groups every day will leave them vulnerable to more nasties.
