Ok so I want to try make my life a bit more organised and easier for when this bubs arrives.
At the moment all DS's nappies are all overflowing out of a washing basket at the end of his bed... not very neat or organised in any way shape or form.
Soon there will be two in cloth... in mostly different sizes and types... and I don't want to have to sift through a million nappies to get the right one.
I want some sort of organisation where they are all separated, ie terry flats, covers, BBB's, OSFM, DS's nappies and nappies for bubs....
I also don't want them to be a play gym for my son... or something for him to upend... I was thinking separate tubs ior boxes on the floor... but well... they probably won't stay there long! or they will be all in the wrong mismatched boxes!
So how does everyone else have their nappies organised and where do you store them?:flowerz:

I store mine in rectangle cane baskets in the shelves of my change table. I can fit 4 in there. I have pockets and AIO in one fitted and covers in another and the other two store liners, extra boosters, wet bags, change cover mats and also baby products. I will take a pic for you and post it up soon. I also make sure I stuff all my nappies before putting them in the baskets. HTH

At the moment all of DDs nappies are in a few washing baskets bc Im too slack to put them away.
Usually though, I put her everyday aio's in her nappy stacker behind her door and then flashy ones always ready to go in her nappy bag, and other ones like night nappies, and inserts etc in her bookshelf (which is overflowing with other cr*p at the moment).

I have got a big change table that my dad custom built for me with shelving underneath and also a shelf along the wall next to the change table.
I keep some on the change table and some on the shelf.
I am lucky that both DS and DD2 fit into a medium itti bitti at the moment, although I am hoping to have him toilet trained soon :fingerscrossed:.

Ditto!
But I only have pockets so I just stuff 'em and chuck 'em in!

In the linen press - that way I can stack them in piles of the same sort (although usually they just go from the line to butt!)
Before that I had canvas 'hangy things' (From the Reject Shop) in a cupboard, but that didn't work as well.
On a bookshelf.
I have Night nappies on the top shelf far left... then liners, boosters and extra inserts on the top shelf far right. Separated by those foam letter things made into cubes.
Then I have all my AIO's far left on the next shelf... and all the already stuffed pockets next to that..
then lower shelves are books and things.
Fitted nappies are stacked neatly in colour coordinated piles in the change table.. folded terrys on one side, fitteds on the other.
Very neat and user friendly.
i have 2 shelves under my changetable & keep them stacked under there.

I have one of those tallboy thingies that I bought for about $150ish? It has 6 drawers, so I can seperate covers, liners/wipes, AIO's, pockets, BB's and terries! Its soooo much easier!

Mine are in two wire baskets under the change table. One filled with pockets, AIO's and fitteds, the other with night nappies, covers, woolies and baby legs. ATM I have terry flats ina nappy stacker, but I Imagine when bub comes adn I have increased my stash I wil luse that for MCN aswell. I used to, and they fit in there quite well, although it can get a bit messy if you want a nappy from the bottom of the pile! In the baskets they're not piled so much easier to see what you want and get it out easily.
Just in a plastic tub - all chucked in together so not very organised, but works fine with the rest of our messy house . DD can entertain herself for ages pulling them all out and inspecting them.
Which doesn't really help you, but just thought I'd add my two cents in :D.

yep mine are in wicker baskets under changetable on shelves. I have all my Baby Beehinds in one, all my smaller sized fitteds and covers and AIOs in another. I need more though lol at the moment all the bigger nappies that dont fit her yet are just sitting around in the room.

I have DS tall boy inside his robe (which has no door) I store my MCN on the shelf above it. Funtime ones on the far side and anytime ones on the closest side night time ones in the middle. I have his change table quiet close to it so everything is easy to reach.
I am going to have 2 in OSFM come December and I am pulling DS change table out into the family/games room with a book shelf next to it so that I dont have to run from room to room looking for stuff and can put all the nappy stash together. Was thinking about putting his tall boy out as well and using it for both boys clothes but I am not sure yet. I'm hoping it does not look to much like a day care centre!
