I thought the other wa chat was going quiet and getting abit long at 612 pgs so i have started a new one.
here is the last post by jude
Hi guys! And welcome to all of the newbies!
Sorry i haven't been on in a while. One of the forums I go on got hacked into, and the person who did it sent a virus to all of the users. Yay for me. NOT!!! It has completely stuffed my computer, and I have to buy another one. So I'm currently sitting in Stu's office at work and using his net. Will be getting a new computer next week hopefully.
Brion's ear infection has cleared, and so has his cold. However the big baby ( Stu) is still sick, and I've only JUST got better. Brion and I had our flu shots yesterday. Brion was a brave boy and didn't cry at all.
The cat however has a bucket on his head. The cat next door had a go at him again, and he got bitten near his tail. It got infected overnight, and he's been on antibiotics all week, and he's been bashing into stuff the whole time because of the bucket.
When we were at the vets, I stuck Brion on the dog scales and had him weighed. At nearly 11 months he is now 13 kgs ( I took off 100gms for his clothes). I tell you what though, you feel all 13 kgs when arrying him around. My back is looking forward to the day he starts walking!! LOL
I hope everyone is doing well, and that all of the sick bubs and parents get better soon! Hopefully I will get to see you at my place at next weeks meet.
Well we havent been up to much here. Got great news that we have been able to get that extra month on our lease to stay here while our house is being built. that was a sigh of relief as it was going to be sooo hard to find a short term rental. You see the house we are renting the owner were holidaying around the world but they have decided to stay away an extra month so perfect for us.
Ethan is slowly or should i say quickly driving me insane with his stubborness and talking back:banghead: .
Grae lives and breathes work at the moment its like hes never home even when he is iykwim.
stay well gals and will catch up again soon i hope:wave:

I didint have to run after him once! WOW WOW WOW He was so good he even got a small ice cream to share with Mummy (there is always a catch)

BFP = big fat positive
HPT = home pregnancy test ( i know you didnt ask for that one but i included it since they go hand in hand)
AF = i dont know exactly but it means your menstural flow, period etc
Congratulations Rachael :smiliedance: Hope the whole pregnancy goes smoothly for you.
Hi there everyone else, we are at home today waiting for a Dr's appt as Toby has a temperature.
Claire - Aiden is certainly growing up, matt did the nappy trick I am so glad that DP saw it and cleaned it up not me :barf:
Kate - my boys are almost 1 and 3 and the little one is already grabbing things from my older DS. I can't imagine what they are going to be like when they are older!
Congratulations to Bella too, hope you getting some sleep and feeding and everything is going well. Its funny how your life suddenly revolves around how well bubs is eating, sleeping etc :yelclap:
Take care, Sarah
AF = Aunty Flo meaning period. I think, correct me if I am wrong :o

Hi All.
Just thought i'd pop in have a chat with you all.
My DH, DS and I currently live in NSW, Sydney West. I am a Sydney girl and so is hubby, but my whole family live in WA ( Warnbro & Wickham- spread out i know!!).
DH and i have been tempted on a number of occasions to make the move to WA. The first time we couldn't get him a job. The second time we found out i was pregnant, so to move would be too many changes all at once.
DS is 7 months now, and we are considering making the move to WA. I don't know if it will be soon or in a years time.
It's really OVERWHELMING trying to think about how to do it all. My main concern is to find DH and I a job. I'm a primary school teacher with a number of years experince but would dearly love to have a part time permenant teaching job, so i can stay home and look after DS. I don't know where to start looking in order to find jobs in a school- i would be able to work in private christian schools too. We would be living in Warnbro.
My Dh wouldn't mind staying home instead either. But he would still need a part time job. He is a youth worker or carer- he currently works for Banardos and has a diploma in community services. He is studying part time trying to finish his Degree in counselling/youth work. I'm not sure what Uni's are around Warnbro or even in Perth. Do you think they would give him academic credit for the study he's done so far?
SO now you all know our life story...
Does anyone have any advice for me/us?
Thanks guys.
Mrs Little & Son.
Hey guys, I hope everyone is well
Firstly Congratulations Rachel :yelclap: (I answered in your other thread, but it's so exciting!)
Kate I've got a 4 yr old DS and a 3 yr old DD and ALL they do is fight! I wish I knew the solution. The two of them almost ended up in the front yard with a 'free to good home' sign the other day.
Hi Bella  After all this time on the due in April thread I never knew you were from Perth too :o .
Claire  at Aiden's nappy trick! Conan did that once and I almost vomited.
Woohoo for school going back. Life is sooo much easier now that Conan isn't at home all day whinging! I got Austin weighed on Monday and he had put on another 260g in a week, so he is finally over 2.5kg so I can relax a bit!
Take care everyone

Hey Mrs Little,
I live in Port kennedy, right next to Warnbro. One of my friends is a primary school teacher - I'll check with her about jobs if you like.

Thanks girls for all your kind welcomes:p
mim, I honestly never took much notice who was from where in the April thread. As I would mostly just pop on at work I never got to post much, but loved reading about all the girls experiences during their pregancies!
Tullee is a great little baby. She still does sleep alot. She has a little wake time for a few hours in the early eve, but generally goes down about 9ish, wakes for a feed around 2-3am & again at 7ish, so I am lucky I am getting alot of rest.
But I really wasn't prepared for it being a 24 hr job!!! Not that I am finding it hard. I am loving it.
Only complaint I have is how long it takes to actually get us both ready & out of the house in the mornings!!
But this week I feel I am getting more into a routine & jugling things to work for me.
I am completly over the moon with our baby & can't believe I waited so long to become a mum:smiliedance:
I live east, High Wycombe, anyone close?

That would be great. Was also wondering what the hospitals are like over there. We may be there when we have bub 2- still in the planning phase.
Mim- what hospital did u go to?
Mrs Little & Son.
Mrs Little,
I went to Peel Health Campus in Mandurah, it's about 20 minutes south of us. There is public and private maternity units there. I love that hospital. And personally, I can't stand Rockingham hospital (but I'm sure some people will disagree with me)
There is plenty of nice private hospitals more Perth way and I know King Edward Hospital has a birthing centre.
I'm seeing my friend tomorrow, will ask her then for you :)

Have to agree with u mim do NOT go to rockingham hospital i had both my boys there and lets just say it was a drama from start to finish:mad:
Glad to hear that i am not the only one with fighting kids LOL
At least next year jack is in school so it'll only be half the day i have to deal with them together!!!!!
Warnbro is a really great place to live!! My boys will be going to LIving waters (a christian primary school) and i know people who go there and it really is a lovely school. The uni in Rockingham is murdoch. (not sure if this is any help at all!!)
Anyone doing anything special for mothers day????
Tash havent seen you on here much lately, maybe just checking the wrong threads anyway hope your well .
Hi Rachel firstly - Congratulations! fabulous news...
I have popped in occasionally, but have been really busy lately. And Jade has been sick and very clingy in the last week, so I have been spending a lot of time cuddling her out of her blues. Also, Jade is on the move now, so I have been busily picking up CD's, DVD's, remote controls, various magazines, tupperware and assorted clothing from around the house.. all that leaves me not much time for bubhub :(
Welcome to the new folk, hope everyone is doing well. And all bubs, and not so bubs, are keeping healthy.
If I don't speak to you before I hope you all have a wonderful Mothers day! (my first woohoo!) and you get spoiled as you deserve to be. :yelclap: :hugs:

Kate -poor you! I think I would have done the same thing, I get so frustrated and I only have 1 baby to look after!
How is everyone today? Aiden and I have been swimming, well, splashing more like it. Aiden use to go to lessons when he was 6 months but I havnt taken him for ages until last week, he cried and clinged to me for the first 10 minutes becuase he was so scared! Unlike him, so trying to take him each week to see how he goes. Today he was better and even let me duck his head under!
well, thats about it.

Hi guys!!!! Í'm back!!:smiliedance:
I got my new computer today. Tell you what though, it's amazing how much you miss the net when you can't go on it!!!!! I was so bored!!!
Anyway, not much has happened here. We went to Boyup Brooke for Stu's Aunty n Uncle's 50th wedding anniversary bash. We stayed in a little cottage with Stu's parents, Brother n g/friend, and Stu's Sister and kids. During our stay, my nephew taught brion how to chuck the biggest wobblies in history. Brion is now a master tanty chucker. Yay for me! NOT:thumbsdown:
What hasn't helped the situation is the fact that he is teething. His first molar came through today, but the rest are still on their way. So I'm sure to have more Demonic Brion to cope with:devil6:
Hope everyone else is good!

I went one worse than washing a mobile in the washing machine
A few weeks ago we were at at family bbq and my phone was in my back pocket, anyway it dropped in the toilet and i didn't notice the worst thing was no one noticed till hours later,so everyone had peed on it. It still worked though LOL didn't want to use though so i got a new one:D
It would be great to meet everyone,we're only busy on monday so any other day is good for us:wave:
have done the toilet thing. went to the movies with hubbies friends while he was away. went to the loo and the phone was hanging off my pants flushed the toilet and bending over to pick up my handbag and it fell into the toilet. phone didn't work so had to get new phone but took nearly 6 months for it to work again.
then when i was approx 6 months pregnant i was having a bowl of noodles at a rest and my handbag was open and the phone rang and it vibrated right out of my bag and into my soup.
could use sim card but my phone was dead :( :( :( especially since the phone was 2 months old

We would be in too, Friday afternoons are good for us. Might be able to stay more than 10 mins this time :o Matthew still talks about leaving Kings Park that day!
Went to a party at Playzone in South Fremantle the other day which was quite nice and you can sit quite close to children and an enclosed under 4's area. I haven't been to Tropical Twist, what is that like?
Anyway we should be there whatever you decide.

Tropical twist is good, but not that well set out, if you were in the under 4 bit you cant really see the bigger kids running around and it is quite alot smaller than the beach house, thats the only other one I have been to compare!
So what about The Playzone in Freo
Friday 19th May about 2.30pm!
Oh, I better check what time it closes as these things close early sometimes dont they?
will get back x x
i can do fridays so i can come too. claire do you want to carpool together

Hi everyone!
Not much has been going on here. I've been a bit boring:thumbsdown: Ah well, better to be bored then stressed out and busy.
Rach - So glad you're feeling ok. Sorry I've missed u a fair bit on MSN, háven't been on there as much.
Claire - You will have to tell me how you coped with your flight! We are all going to the UK and Europe at the end of the yr. Brion will be 18mnths by then so God knows how we are going to keep him occupied. Especially as we didn't get him a seat, because they wanted us to pay 75% ticket price, as opposed to 10%. Fortunately we have just got a portable DVD player, so hopefully we can Wiggle through the time!
Hope everyone else is well! Thread seems to have died in the **** a bit. Will try to pop in a bit more, keep bumping it up.:D

Hi Everyone
creativewarior, how did it go getting Amber to sleep in big bed? Aiden is just a month younger than Amber, but Im not sure if I should try him in a big bed or when is the best time to do it?? How is it going?
Rachel, when did u put Ethan in the big bed?? I would love to leave Aiden in there as long as possible but dont want to damage his growth!!
anyhoo, getting ready for the playzone, playhouse, funzone thing.

Claire ethan was in his own bed at 13 mnths but then sheldon is 16mnths and still in his cot. Im putting him into a bed as soon as we move into the new house as hes ready for it but we dont want to buy more furniture that needs to be moved soon

we still have a few probs getting amber to sleep - she plays in her room for a while most nights which is fine, i dont go in unless shes calling out for me or banging on the door... she went to sleep in there quite well at first but now wants us to be with her until she falls asleep which is kinda getting annoying. shes wasnt well last week tho so i think that had something to do with it too. nights were hard - naptimes are worse - she just thinks its playtime still, gotta wait till shes totally tired.
overall tho heaps better than the cot - in the mornings she gets up and plays for a while before calling for me, when she used to just scream out the moment she woke - so now i get a maybe an extra 15 minutes sleep
i knew it was time when i found her climbing out of the cot - she hadnt gotten out yet but i knew it wasnt far off. i kept the cot in the room with the bed so if she was playin up i could give her a choice of 'big girl bed' or 'baby cot' - she would always point to the bed :)
weve just got a guard rail for the bed and she hasnt fallen out yet even tho she would do 180's in the cot she seems to stick to the pillow end which is good

Thanks for the info girls. Im glad that the little ones are sleeping well in the big beds. Actually I noticed that Ikea have some really cute little beds.
I think if we were trying for a second baby we might put Aiden in the big bed, but since we are not, I think we will keep him in the cot as long as poss! He is such a good sleeper and wakes and talks to himself for about an hour in the mornings, so at least we get a bit if time to wake up!
Anyhoo Hope u all have a good weekend everybody

Hi All
Rachel, I hope you are still feeling well and the pregnancy is going great.
Claire, are you getting excited yet? A good friend of mine left for the UK on Friday night.. I haven't heard from her yet, but I'm guessing the flight with her little one (Jade's Age) was pretty good.. I'll let you know when she touches base with me.
Creativewarrior congrats on TTC. I hope it happens quickly for you.
allycat2 it was great to meet you and Jessica on Friday. And it was good to see Mim, her gorgeous three, Sarah and her very handsome two and Claire and full of cuteness Aiden.
Not much out of the ordinary is happening here with me and Jade. I am thinking about the next one  since Jade will be one sooooo soon. I will be doing another round of IVF after I stop BFing (when Jade is 1) and then we will have some embys ready for when we want to go again. Still torn between wanting another baby and wanting to devote all I have to Jade. Is that normal?
Anyway, there's no stopping Jade now. I walk around the house after I put her down for a nap and can see the path she took. A book out here, a cupboard open there, a video off the shelf here, some toys there... I tell ya, she wouldn't make a very good thief.
Hope you are all well, have a great week !

Hi everyone
Tash - I think it is normal to want to devote all your time to Jade, ofcourse you will, but Im sure she would love a little bro or sis to play with! I just cant belive how big she is getting! it is the same with all the babies, when we all first met they were all so small and now crawling and almost walking! Good luck with yout IVF, I hope it happens first time round.
Aiden is at day care today so I have a day of peace! yippee! well not really cause I have to work but it is my one break in the whole week so I really treasure it.
He was really sick on saturday morning, but wasnt sick again, so he seems okay now. I was outside in the garden last night and woke up at 5.15 scratching like hell, I have about 8 bites on my ankles! bloody mossies!
Yes - totally excited about going home, not so much about the flight, does anyone suggest anything that may help aiden sleep???? Or me for that matter???
Im thinkning of suggesting another SOR meet next friday. Who would be in??
Have a good day y'all

Creativer warrior it is great making the decions to try for another one isnt it. hope it doesnt take too long for you and goes smoothly:fingerscrossed:.
Tash - they grow up so quick and yes it's normal to think about just devoting all your time to jade. I know when i had to go to hopsital to have sheldon i cried it was like no ethan is my baby. but all was well.
The preg so far is going good and i see the drs on friday so that will be good.
I will be coming to perth for about 2 wks for the july school holidays so im hoping i can catch up with some of you then.

I will start a thread soon and everyone can just make suggestions for what is best for them

How is everyone in Perth going?

Im so happy you are having a boy, I would love to catch up when you get back, so keep me posted. Until then I will just keep reading you pregnancy diary!
Take care

Glad to see the thread picking back up!
Kate - congrats on your fantastic news!!:yelclap: Maybe a girl this time round?
Tash - I know how you feel, Brion turns 1 next Tuesday, and though I want him to have a sibling (or 2 if I can convince DP! ) I feel like I should devote 100% to him. Ah well, we'll see how things go hey? Good luck with ur expected IVF:fingerscrossed:
Claire - advanced congrats on you wedding anniversary! With many more to come for you both!
Rach - Good luck with your docs appt! Maybe we could catch up when you are in Perth?
Hope everyone else is doing well! Brion is good. He said his first proper word today, he said DAD (haha now Stu will have to answer to his every beck and call!) I'm pretty sure he knows how to use it in context. He is still cruising around the furniture, no signs of walking yet. Can't wait til he does, my back is about to snap from carrying him around! We are having his B'day party on the 3rd. Hopefully it isn't raining. I don't even want to think of all our rellies in our house, squished inside! With children running around! AAAHHHH!!!! I am also going to attempt to decorate my first ever birthday cake. Hehehe should be interesting!
Congratulations Kate.
Linda, nice to hear from you.. looking forward to seeing you again later in the year (and your new little man too!)
Jude.. 1! wow.. too fast. I hope that our cake turns out to be a success.. what kind are you thinking of? Happy Birthday to Brion for next tuesday, and I'm sure he'll enjoy his party no matter what. :)

Hi Everyone
Hope you are all well.
I am back in Perth after a month home in Scotland.
The first week was hard as we were all so tired and I was totally stressed out, but them the sun came out and I started to chill out a little. Aiden had so much fun as did we. It was so nice to see my family, I have only been back 2 days but miss them heaps already! :crying: Oh dear! I have also put on heaps of weight so back on the diet again, sucks!! We had DH sisters wedding to go to and Aiden had on a kilt, he looked sooo cute"! I will have to post the picture soon,

Hi everyone
Guess what??
Brion took his first steps last night!!!! 4 of them!
As you can tell I am very excited! Other then that nothing much has been going on here. I am working 2 nights a week now - Stu looks after Brion when I am at work. It's going ok. Nice to have some adult conversations about things other then babies. Well as adult as you can get out of drunk people!
Hope everyone else is well. Claire you will have to post up those pics of Aiden in a kilt! Sounds adorable! Glad to hear you are all recovering from the flu Rach!
Chat later!
Hi All
Hi Claire! Welcome Back! Sounds like you had a wonderful time, but I missed you. I can't wait to see a pic of Aiden in his little kilt, how cute.
CONGRATULATIONS BRION!!!! How incredibly exciting for you Jude! I love the milestones and walking is a big one, you have every right to be excited!
Jade is standing up on everything, sometimes letting go to stand by herself and today she took a little step (though I'm not calling it walking yet) It's very exciting.
We are busy planning her birthday party and excitedly waiting for her first concert (the Dorothy The Dinosaur Dance Party on August 1st).
That's about all for now... hope you all have a great week!

I am cold and depressed, when does summer start? ? ?
How is everyone?? Any news?? I am bored ha ha ha should be working really, well, I have been. Aiden been sleeping for 3 hours, but think the windy rain is about to wake him up cause I can hear him stirring.

On a more positive note......just booked to go to Ayres Rock and Sydney when MIL and FIL are here, thought we should get out there and see what Oz has to offer beyond WA. Any suggestions of must do'd in Sydney would be appreicated!

Sounds like you job rocks.. what are you doing?
Claire! Helloo!!!!! Oh you lucky thing you! Got the travel bug now huh? Ayers rock is one of the remaining Australian things to see on my list. I'm jealous. I loved Sydders. I don't have any must do's apart from 'do everything you can'. Hope to catch up with you soon... maybe we can organise a meet at one of those play places again (like the last time) that's indoors so the weather won't bother us.
S&S how exciting.. only four weeks to go! BTW.. when *isn't* it cold in your part of the world?
Jade is still doing her little stand and shuffle then plop on her bum routine. We are looking forward to the Dorothy the Dinosaur Dance Party on Tuesday. Our first concert! I hope they have some expensive crappy merchandise I can buy.
Hope you all have a great weekend!

What about next friday pm for a meet? maybe at the one in South Freo again about 3pm ish?? I think it is the only one open that late cause the one in Oconnor closes at 3pm.
I will post a thread once I see how many peeps would come. Beware, it is me posting the thread so most likely the meet wont go ahead\1 they never do when I post!! ha ha

Pg is going well. tired all the time though. went to obny today and told him i would like to try to go natural after my c-sect due to pre-eclampsia. He said he's happy to go ahead with that idea as long as i see a specialist at 25 weeks and decide from there. don't want c-sect at all so im going to fight it tooth and nail.
Might be able to make it to the meet next week. i normally finish work at 3:30pm but maybe i can sneak out early *fingers crossed*
