Maybe Baby... Please help

I would desperately love to hear from others who have used Maybe Baby, as I seem to be having some trouble with it.

I have been ttc since Nov. 07, and just got a Maybe Baby a little over a month ago, and have been using it without success. Yesterday (cd 12) was the first time I've seen any of the "ferns", but it was only after about an hour... I got busy and forgot about it.
Was worried then that it may not be accurate after a certain time, so experimented several times throughout the day and into the evening. I did get ferns most times, but usually only if I left it longer than the 10-15 minutes that the directions say - about 20 - 25 minutes. (Have also tried using different amounts of saliva on the lens).

Please.... I'd really appreciate hearing about other people's experience with this.

For now, I will assume that O is near, and will persist...

ps. I'm only new to Bub Hub, and would like to say how fabulous it is that there are so many wonderful, friendly and caring ladies out there!!

I was looking at buying Maybe Baby. When I went into the Chemist to have a look at one, there was a sales rep there restocking the shelves and she basically told me that she would waste $90 on it, as it doesnt work for everyone. Apparently there is a little light inside of the microscope and this often breaks after only a few uses, then you have to throw it away and buy a new one. She recommended the saliva testing kit instead.

Hi l used maybe baby to conceive my first child and it was fantastic. l had it all worked out quick and we were pregnant within 3 months. l always used maybe baby first thing in the morning before l got out of bed as you cannot drink or eat before using it. l would leave it to dry then carry on with what l had to do e.g having shower etc. Somedays it took longer to dry but l always think the longer the better because if l moved it to early then the saliva would run. There were some ferns the day before l o but on the actual day the whole thing would be covered. Do not leave it in the bathroom while you have a shower as it will take longer to dry because of the moist. But yes l sometimes left it for longer then the time said and always got an accurate reading. l loved the maybe baby and will be using it again soon. Hope this helps. If you have ferns then your are o so get busy. Good luck and hope it doesnt take you long.

Sorry just wanted to add after still having maybe baby for 3 years now the light had not broke just we careful when using it as it is a globe. My sister also used mine (l know you are not suppose to share but it was my sister) she was successful first go remember to wipe over it after each use.
