Have you ever taken a pregnancy test apart?

:o :laughing: Guess what I did this morning.

My test was negative, but I hold out hope... and I was curious, I took the plastic casing off a first response and was wondering if anyone else has done the same, positive or negative, what did you see?

On the bigger part that's not seen (I'm assuming where the dye is stored) was there a line? Or was there not? :laughing:

I took nearly all of them apart... except the last one so I could share it with Hubby.

I'd slide my fingernail in & pop it open... aahhhhh.

Then I'd scrutinise it in different lights.

I think I did find a 'line' in the dye section...

Yes I had a line but no I wasn't pregnant.

It happened for me for both negative & then when I got my positive.

I think it's normal... where the dye ends on the absorbant bit before spreading over the smooth display window bit iykwim???
