View Full Version : Where Might I Find...
a cubby house?
i want to buy a cubby for my babies (just 2 and almost 3) but they all seem to be well over $1000. who has that kind of money to spend on a cubby house?
has anyone got any suggestions where we can buy one for an affordable price in sydney?
or does anyone know where we might be able to get the materials to make one ourselves cheaply?
TIA.... :flowerz:

Hi there I would suggest looking in the weekend paper and the trading post for a second hand one that way its cheaper and assembled and it could be fun to fix it up a bit. You can also try ebay as I know they often have them on there.
I want one for our Ds but will wait till we arent renting as the thought of having to move one is not a pleasant thought.
Goodluck hope you find what you are looking for.

It depends on what you are looking for in a cubby.
ToysRus have a few in both plastic and wood (flat pack).
Bunnings also have both plastic cubbys and build your own packs.
We got a basic plastic cubby from toysRus Castle Hill for $130. My kids love it (2 and 3 y.o.) no one has lost any fingers or whacked their head badly climbing through the windows so I'm pretty happy.
was after a wood one and are happy to put it together ourselves....
i have checked out ebay and will keep my eye on it in the future...
will check out toys r us and bunnings too - thx.
i know bunnings have a massive one, but never knew about the others....
thx everyone! :)
