Angels - I love the whole idea of angels, having someone watching over you, guiding you through the good and bad times of life.
I have become a bit of a fan of Touched By An Angel - the whole concept is lovely - but do they exist? I would like to think so....it would give so many people comfort to believe in them.
At the current time when I have been very low, homesick etc I have these conversations with myself in the hope that God or my angel is listening. Anyone else believe or want to believe?:hugs:

i was walking across a huge bridge one night when i was 18 and i heard this voice say "you dont have to worry you are always protected" which i thought was weird, any way at the end of the bridge there was a group of people, and as i walked past i heard this guy say "how about her" and this chick said "no not her", any way later that night, someone was mugged at the end of the bridge:no:

There is nothing like first hand experience to make you believe.
I think thats wonderful.:) ...but I wonder why the other girl did not have one then?
I wonder why they only help some and not others??!:ecomcity:
Maybe they are related to us historically!

For me angels are right up there with religion. I don't have faith in either of them. If I die and find out they are real, I will be kicking someones butt and they must have been out to lunch during the several years when I did need them!

I am a Christian and I believe that angels are with us all the time. My aunt has a 'gift' for seeing angels regularly and often tells me that there are two or three angels in the room with us when we are praying together...
Where two or more are gathered!!! :yelclap:

I do believe we have angels guiding us & protecting us & I know both of my children have many:)
Not only do they exist but they do the most amazing things. Ask..and you will find out. Theres no such thing as a string of coincidences. It amazes me how they work for us.
Even getting you a car park space.
I love it.
Yeah I believe in angels, but not the fluffy girlie type you get in the Christmas plays.
There are messenger angels, like Gabriel in the Christmas story... then there are the angels which watch over and protect our children, warring Angels, angels which continually praise God and weird beastlike cherubin (not your little cherub things from Roman myths), they have eyeballs and wings all over the place, and archangels... there are probably more than that but I can't remember. (Seraphim?)
Then there are angels which look just like people, some say that you should be kind to all strangers as you never know, one might be an angel http://www.ibelieveinangels.com/Angel-Stories/Angel-or-Beggar--34.html
Then there are fallen angels or demons. Some say that these are mistaken for aliens in our present culture. The bible says that Satan is a fallen angel, who can appear as an angel of light, deceiving and tempting people.
There are some interesting stories of angels protecting people. One friend told me of a woman in South Africa, who was driving a 4WD with her 2 kids in the back. She was rammed up the back, stopped the car, then some guys stole it with the kids still inside. She immediately phoned a Christian friend, before the police. The friend alerted all the other people in the prayer group and they all prayed. The car was found not too far away, with the kids still strapped in the back. The police wondered why the car had stopped and the kids told them that a really large, shining man had stepped out infront of the vehicle... the thieves were so frightened they legged it. Then the "man" disappeared.
Well, this could just be a nice little story, or there could be something in it.
"Take care that you do not despise one of these little ones; for, I tell you, in heaven their angels continually see the face of my Father in heaven." (Matthew 18)
I don't get angel worship, why some people are obsessed with them, they are created beings after all and all the praise should go to God.
I believe in angels
They don't have wings though
I believe they are good people that have passed on but are not yet married
Yeah, I believe in them.
When DD was younger and I was changing her nappy, she would look over at the door and a huge smile would come over her face. If you know her, you'll know that she only ever used to do this when people looked straight at her and I certainly wasn't. She would look at the door and "talk" to it with a huge smile. I like to think her angel was there and I encouraged her to keep talking. She doesn't do it so much anymore. It made me wonder if all of us can see things as babies, then it gets taken away from us at some point. Who knows?
Love,
Nan. xx

I haven't said anything to anyone yet...but I believe the little girl I miscarried (she would have been my first) stands next to my kids bedroom door. She has golden blonde hair, is about 6 years old and is very peaceful. I feel her there when I'm sitting at the computer at night and it always seems as if one of the kids is watching me. When I turn, I catch a glimpse of her, but never see her face.
She is beautiful and I can't wait to meet her when I get to heaven.
The little girl you m/c TTP might very well have been returned into one of your children now..that other little spirit you see could very well be another.....do you children ever mention her or know anything about her?
Ask her to let you know who she is and why she watches over you all. Even if she speaks to you in a dream.

I believe in angels and I know I have one that looks over me and my daughter (my friend Aaron who has fallen).
A friend of mine lost her baby at 4 months, and she is very spiritual and has told me that her daughter looks over my daughter as well.

I do believe in Angels, I do I do:thumbsup:
When I was 16, pregnant with my first child, His father and I went for a walk to the shop.
I was starving and he wouldn't give me money for food.
I only asked for $3 for some hot chips.
I was standing there crying when a beaten up brown station wagon drove into the parking lot.
It had a man and a woman with what seemed like 8 or more children in the car.
This woman got out, she was large and her clothes were old.
She walked up to me and placed $3 into my hand, then said "God bless you."
She got back into the car, I turned around to go into the shop, as I closed the door I noticed that the car had gone, vanished.
I thank God foor those Angels who fed me that night.
