preemie clothing

hello fellow preemie mums!!!!

i need a little help - i am in the process of ordering some preemie clothing for my store - that i may possibly need to dip into (not having much faith in my body these days), but what i want to know is what did or would you have used while in hospital to clothe bubs - i know many hospitals have a basket of clothes to use, and what not, but if you were to buy your own clothes what would you have brought and used??

oh and at about what weight were you able to start dressing bubs ??

i know from my own experience that my boy was just in a nappy most of the time while in the isolette, and didnt move into clothes untill he moved out of it (unless he was cold and had a little jacket poped on him)

both boys didnt get dressed until they came out of the isolette they most they had was a nappy and singlet/top
most babies dont get dressed until there out of the issolette but sizes can depend on the bub and how well they are doing i would stay from about 1.2- 1.5kg and up
i didnt buy anything particular for they boys as they fitted in to 6x0 and 5x0 they where a little big but they grew into them in no time

maybe just order some singlets and tops/ hats booties/mitten in the smaller tiny sizes and get clothes for the bigger sizes as most people like a few thing that fitted when they where actually born IMO

yeah i was thinking along those lines too, my boy was 2.1kg born and although 00000s were a little big on him he spent most of the time wraped up in a blanket any way!
however to have had one or 2 nice fitting outfits would have been a godsend.

I got alot of use out of the little nighties once we were at home. DD wore size 6x0 for the first month, and then just wore the wondersuits.

DD1 was 1.87kgs born, and in the special care nursary, they only wore nappy and singlet, but I did buy some dolls clothes from the markets, and took her up some beanies I made.

But other than that, buy the time she came home, it was winter, and she just wore the tiny bonds jumpsuits, as she was long and skinny, it didnt seem to make a difference.
