Hi girls. I am nearly 33 wks preg and over the last couple of days i haven't felt my baby girl moving as much as I was, on my last u/s at 28 wks she was measuring 3 wks ahead has this got anything to do with it? Should I go see the midwife at the hospital or not? I live 45 minutes away from the hospital and I dont wanna get there only to be told its normal n be sent home. I have the flu as well its just hard as DH is at work atm and I don't have a licence. And no-one to look after our son. TIA ladies

Hi Melissajayne,

Maybe you should just give the hospital a call and let them know your concerns, that way they can tell you if you should go in and see them or not, lately i havent felt bub move as much, but i still feel it move, even DP has said the movements have slowed down. But if you are really worried give them a call.

Good luck keep us updated! :hugs:

Hi Melissa Jayne - I think the important thing is that you are still feeling some movements. If you ring them - they might give you a task to do i.e. have a glass of lemonade and sit for an hour and count how many movements. I have also read that as the pregnancy continues, babies get into more 'grown up' baby patterns - so a few hours of sleep followed by a few hours of movement etc.

Here's a link to a fetal kick chart - it is similar to one that I had to use after having a pretty nasty fall on my tummy when pregnant with #1.

Hope that helps!
