NOR meet Thurs 04th May

Hi All, :wave:

Today's meet (27th April) was a small group with only 5 of us. It was a nice day and a big Thank you to Lou for hosting this weeks meet in her lovely home.

Next week is at Jude's place in Craigie (?) I will leave the posting of her address up to Jude so let her know if your able to make next week.

Looks like a few of us have come down with one thing or another after the little ones have had it so to all who are not feeling the best Get Well Soon :hugs:
Lou has a new job which takes up her Thursdays so we will be seeing a lot less of her and Adam which is a shame. All the best in the job Lou we will miss you :crying:

:idea: (don't get them too often) The few of us that were able to make this weeks meet had a little chat about the get togethers we have and we came to the agreement that we put out a question to all who show up to our NOR meets.

Is a weekly meet too much?

Would everyone prefer once a fortnight/month, or even a different day and time. Please put in your opinions as everyones opinions matter.

I think a weekly meet is great because you can always miss one here and there without having to wait too long for the next (I have no social life!!). I look foward to my seldom outtings but 1pm is an aqward time because Elijah has a second sleep then but babies sleep times are always changing so we will always tend to be a bit late or he skips his sleep. Does that make sense??
Sorry, Elijah's got gastro and has managed to vomit in every room of the house and im on my 4th load of washing with a huge mountain of clothes and bedding still dirty so my heads a bit duh. :eek:

As with the regularity of the meets, im not really fussed, altho mornings do tend to be better for me as Amity usually sleeps at about 1pm...And as some of u know, she can quite grumpy if she skips it!

Hi, Sorry I didnt make it today either! I was feeling really yuck last night & this morning, but I have pulled up ok after a nap this afternoon. Hopefully I only got a little cold & wont hang around long! :fingerscrossed:

I agree with Phoebe about the meets. Once a week is great & if I miss it, I can always catch up with you all the next week. 1pm is also a bit of a bad time for me as Ava also has a nap around then. Thursday is the best day for me tho.

Hey there...I'm sorry i didn't make it this week but my partner took the car to work as he had morning shift and his is too "noisy" anyway I won't be able to make it to the next meetings cos I start tafe and i have to go on thusdays. Anyway .... i will try my best to keep in touch here and hopefully haved other meetings that are not on the days I go to tafe.

If you like, would it be better if you came round at 11? Just a suggestion, I know that a lot of kids have their nap aroud 1. Just let us know, whatever the mjority vote is, I will set as the time. So 11am or 1pm, what do you prefer?

If we could just continue with what we have been doing each week, by just bringing chips or dip etc That seems to have been working well so far

Sorry that we didnt make yesterdays meet but to all those who went I hope you had a great time. Montana is still not well and added to that now has a graze down one side of her face where she slipped into outside steps.:( As for next weeks meet we wont be able to make that either as I have an appointment in Perth, however, I will :fingerscrossed: make it to another meet sometime soon though. Jnr sometimes sleeps at 11.30-12.00, last week he fell asleep in the car on the way to Lou's so he really has his own time, if he wants to sleep he will. So 11 am is fine for us.

11 is ok too - amber usually naps around then but lately has been a real little bugger with naps - so she should be fine to run amok with everyone on thursday :)

Most of the meets so far have lasted a good 2 1/2 hrs so if u can make ours it doesn't matter if your late.

Just remember what usually happens to late comers to a gig:laughing: :laughing:
