Hi,

My daughter who is 10 weeks old is a silent refluxer and has been on Zantac now for 3 weeks which seems to be toning down the reflux for the moment. My GP has said to start her on solids at 4 months as it will help with the reflux. She is a very good feeder. She feeds every 6 hours and has been on a anti reflux formula since she was 2 weeks old. I was wondering what to giver her when starting solids. I don't want to giver her the rice cereal as I heard the rice gives them wind and causes constipation. I don't want to start her on fruit either as it is all quite acidic which is obviously going to flare up her reflux. Any suggestions in regards to veges and are they too heavy. Please let me know what you started them on and how old they were at the time. And also whether it helped or didn't help.

Thanks :fingerscrossed:

We started officially the day Phoenix turned 4 months... so last Monday. And after 2 months of horrible weekly weighing in, he has FINALLY had a major gain. 300g one week, 250g then next. We started on corn, pumpkin, carrot (which he threw up some of so we're waiting a while to try again). Oh, we've also started pear and apple, which we haven't had a problem with at all. Its bliss :D
