Bubs on Formula..

Well as some of you know we have had a few problems with Jarvis.. hence why he is bottle feed and on LF

I found out through some friends that formula for medical reasons can br prescribed..

we were paying $18-$24 a tin for S26 LF but if its prescribed by the doc its on the PBS so today i paid $31.30 for 5 tins.. if you are on other then every day formula look into it as it saved me heaps.. if you have concessions etc its even less..

yes it is true.

However it's up to your doc to give the prescription and also it's special type of formula for special need babies ie premmies.

yep my DS1 had a milk protein allergy and was prescribed pepti junior, we got 8cans for 4.90 as he also has a HHC!

Harlan is all healthy though hes on top ups due to my supply issues. so we arent intitled to it this time

Wow, thanks for that. I've never heard of that before. I've had to put DS on soy as he was allergic to my milk. Wonder if that qualifies?

Will go check it out next week.

Yeah search google and find the PBS govenrment page i read some thing about soy.. so now i have a script for another 25 tins.. should do J for the rest of the year....

His paed said the GP could have given the prescription to us
