We tried so hard to provide him with a wide variety of quality, healthy food. He got fruit and veggies every day - all freshly prepared at home, never opened a tin or jar of baby food. He ate everything...

Until now...

Now he only eating orange finger food. Pumpkin, carrots, sweet potato, dried apricots. Bananas are ok still (it'll be a cold day in hell before he turns down 'nana).

How long does this usually last?? :(

Don't you love it! My DD who is 2 and a half will NOT eat anything white. Milk, potato, icecream:confused: cream etc! she has been like that for about a year now:laughing::o

Is he eating with you? Usually they grow bored and want what everybody else is having. But there are some right little individuals out there too! I had one little chap swearing blind to me that he was allergic to anything green. Perhaps you could come up with something wonderful that isn't orange to tempt him?

It's true! I went to school with a girl who ate a carrot with every meal and for snacks, EVERY DAY and her hands were actually orange, like she'd fake tanned and not gotten it off her palms.

i wouldn't worry about it too much. Prob just likes the colour.

If you are really worried, start mixing other colour foods in with the fav colour food.
