for those that sleep with the cot against there actual bed how do u you go when the baby starts to roll?

do you start to put the rail back on and get them fully in the cot? i am unable to sleep with my daught during the day as i have an older son and just wondering how everyone else does it. at the moment her cot is right against out bed with no side rail so i can easily grab her in the night to feed.

i didnt bother to move her back last night as she wouldnt come off.

TIA

At the moment i hear her, although there is about a 10cm raise from her bed to mine even though shes crawling now i would hear her i guess :) i hope anyhow LOL I have got a rail though for a single bed which i plan to put there for day naps though, i know that putting the side rail back on the cot would be a mission thats all and i couldnt see the use of pulling it off every night and putting it back on in the mornings.

We had the cot as a side car pushed against our bed and when DD started rolling there was also about a 5 cm rise from our mattress to her cot mattress so she still wasnt crawling at that stage and couldnt roll over the rise.

When she does wake up though, she would always give a little wail of a cry to let me know that she was up so I was never worried bout her falling off the bed.
