I bought a cr@p (cr@p) cherub electric breast pump and can barely manage to get 10mls out of it before my n!pples start to hurt, but tonight I managed to get a whopping 25mls (over 10 mins) out of it . I'm going out on Saturday and desperately need to express about 150mls for my son, who will be staying home with daddy.

My question is this:

The milk I just expressed tonight is in the fridge. Can I get that out of the fridge tomorrow and express new milk into that? Can I continue to top it up all day tomorrow? I guess I would then have to freeze it all tomorrow night so it can be used on Saturday, or can I just leave it all in that same bottle, in the fridge until Saturday?? Or should I just freeze each time I express and then defrost it all together on Saturday morning?

Silly question, but how do you defrost frozen EBM. Leave it in the fridge over night to thaw??

As you can see I don't usually express, sorry for the dumb questions :o

Any advice would be appreciated!

If I can't express, I can't get my hair done (which is in urgent need of being done) :crying:. I don't really want to take my son to the hairdressers for 3 hours, with all the hair colouring smells etc.
