Iam so glad to finally see a forum devoted to this, going to overseas forums was a little unhelpful becuase most of the time I had to wait 12 hours for an answer due to the time difference...

and when something is on ya mind u need answers straight away....

which is why iam annoyed I can not get in to see anyone to have my questions answered.

I want to TTC again but I cant get into anyone for months...

and then I started thinking about getting an OB when I do get pregnant and they cant get u in for 8 weeks,... well heck thats when everything went wrong.

No one tested me for anything, I saw a gap at 4 weeks who said "its nothing special" just eat well and life goes on as normal.
I asked him to check my Iron levels as they were previously low.

2nd apointment was at 7 1/2 weeks with another GP who said take multivitamins
did no testing for anything.

3rd apointment finally with OB at 12 weeks - was too late

how can i get care during the so called "Crucial Time" of pregnancy is no one can fit me in ???????

so annoyed and upset at this cause I dont know what to do...

do I ttc ? do I wait ? or am i just waiting for a whole heap of non answers.

I just want someone to tell me what is the right thing to do.

Hi! Sorry to hear about your loss.:(
Where abouts do you live? Surely there's some GP's close by that can see you? You should be able to see them whenever you have a question etc.
They do only have routine monthly checkups for quite some time during your pregnancy, however that doesnt mean you cant go in and see them in between ante natal checks.

If you're thinking of TTC again, can I suggest to start taking some vitamins now? Mainly folate, but you could start taking something like Blackmores pregnancy and breastfeeding formula multivitamin.

Good luck with finding a doctor thats sympathetic and listens to your needs. :hugs: Feel free to pm me if you want to chat to someone. :)

You can start TTC now. I was told I didn't have to wait after my 2 m/c.
1st was complete and 2nd was not, had to have a D&C.
I think it is a cruicial time but there is really nothing they can do for you at that early stage.
Unfortunatley they can't do anything if the pg is going to fail. I know it sounds bad but thats how it is.
When you do fall again just take it really easy, eat well, take supplements. Thats all you can really do. You just have to hope for the best really.
I know how you feel and if you want to pm me you can.
Good luck with TTC:fingerscrossed: I'll be keeping an eye out for you;)

Yeah I have not stopped taking my blackmore Preg vitamins as my dr suggested I keep taking it.

He also suggested I take Zinc to repair my lining faster
and omega 3 to help with post natal depression (sudden drop in hormones)

I can go to a normal GP but without a medical history they can not comment, my Gp who is also a specialist has a waiting period of 4 weeks, 3 to go now...

but its all too much time to wait....
