Hurrah - finally after 7 months of no car we are possibly in the position to buy a new vehicle for the expanding brood.

At the moment we are looking at Kia Carnival. There will be three kids and two adults in the family come Christmas.

My question is really with regard to anchor points in the vehicle. Are there enough? If so - what does everyone think of the car otherwise.

THe other car we have seen is a Mazda Tribute...

comments welcome as I can't easily get to a car yard to browse!

We have the Kia carnival grand -got the grand because of the power doors:D i love em - no more slamming doors and I can press my remote as I walk to the car for my little tribe to jump into if i'm holding a stack of other stuff., and the leather seats, and because you can play around with the seats...you can remove them all individually so easy to re configure seating, and you can store the back ones down in a little hidey spot to open up the back...great for long trips etc.

all of the back seats have anchor points and they don't interfere with any space around the seat like some wagons etc. It was the only 'people mover' or 'family freighter' that we found that could fit three car seats across the middle section easily as they are 'full size' seats not 40/60 like some.

And price wise alot cheaper than the Toyota tarago and some others that I can't remember...best quality for money IMO.

we had to extend our garage to fit it in , but love it !!! have a twin group of mums and we all have the same car...its funny how many you notice around once you start looking.

good luck
