How soon were u prg after lap??

Hi Girls,

I have a beautiful 16 month old DD but sadly I recently lost my second baby at 11 weeks. I am dealing with that too but that is a whoooole other issue...

I have a large cyst (8.5cm) on my ovary which is being removed by laproscopy (sp?) on 29/5. It has been a long, emotionally draining, scary journey to get to this point (was diagnosed in Dec 05). I am preparing myself for the fact that I will probably lose my ovary.

I wanted to hear about other people's experiences and how soon they were able to conceive following something similar? Any thoughts you could share would be most appreciated.

I myself had a cyst on my ovary when I was very young like 16. Which burst and I was fine didn't have to have surgury or anything. I have a beautiful 17 month old daughter.
While this is not exactly the same situation you have it is similar. My sister has a 4 year old and last year they started trying for their second when they dicovered she had a cycst on her ovary i think it was about 5cm (not really sure). Anyway her cyst also burst and a bout 2 months later she was pregnant she is due in about 5 weeks.
