Late BFPs ?

Has anyone had a late BFP?
It seams people are testing at as early as 10 dpo and getting positive's.
I know you aren't supposed to test before 14 dpo or when AF is due.
What is the latest anyoe's hpt's have turned positive after being negative?

I am now 12 dpo. My normal coverline is about 36.50, and never higher than 36.70.
Since 3 dpo it has been climbing to 37.2, and staying at 37.10 for the last 4 days.

There was a dip at 8 dpo.

My bb's are only just slightly larger today but not sore.. i never get sore bb's.
I've also had mild tummy cramps and the weirdest thing was slight head spins.. almost like I'm on drugs (not that Ive ever taken any!). Aso been having unusual thick creamy cm .. but no ewcm.

I am not an expert, and i dont know much of the lingo on here, but i tested a couple of days after i was due, only to get a negative... two weeks later i still had an inkling i was pregnant so i tested again... BFP.

So give it a week or thereabouts and try again! Good luck!

I tested at 12DPO and got a very feint positive and kept testing every day as I didnt believe it and wanted the line to get darker.. then I had a blood test at the doctors at about 13dpo which was positive. It wasnt until AF was officially about a week late that I started to let myslef believe that I was in fact pg.
Actually, the day af was due, I got af type pains and was sure that af was on her way but when I spoke to my doc, she said that it would have been implantation which feels like af and happens around the same time - sometimes accompanied by a bit of spotting

Well I was 22 days late before I got a positive. I even had negative blood tests too!;)

I am hoping that I am like you. My af is late but i got a bfn this morning, stil no sign of af though. So :fingerscrossed: that my situation will turn out like yours :o

I did some reading and at 14 dpo potentially as many as 25% of women who are pregnant will get a BFN. To make sure you get a BFP as early as possible it's essential to check using early morning urine (when it's most concentrated). So, although some women get a BFP at 10 dpo, don't stress if you haven't got one by 12dpo and somehow just wait a bit longer :)

I tested a week after I was due and got a negative, tested about a week over and got a very positive :)

I see so many posts where the members are so obviuosly hoping to be pregnant but aren't and was just more confused over my negative result.

My temperatures have been sky rocketing ever since ovulation, and have stayed at 37.1 for the last nine days. It's now13 dpo. still a negative test.

I've also been quite flushed in the face too.

Know any other reasons as to why temps may be this high? I'm not ill in anyway that I can tell.

Let's hope it isn't early menapause - aged 35

It can be difficult to tell in the beginning as so many symptoms are similar to these of Pre-menstrual. Waiting is definitely the hardest part though - I hated the dreaded 2 week wait! Good luck, I hope you get your pos+ result!!

I didnt get my BFP till 21DPO and a faint one at that.

Also had a negative BT at 16DPO. :rolleyes:

Latest Update:

Now 14 dpo, Boobies are now bigger and sore at the side near the armpits.
Temperature still 37.1, been elevated for 14 days.
Still very tired and spacey, lots of little head spins and can''t even add two numbers together.
Not very productive when you're a programmer.

i only recently learnt i am 15 weeks and 4 days preg instead of just on 11 weeks. i did home tests in jan and got negatives and even did a blood test and got a neg result. but according to thursdays u/ i was preg back then :laughing: i even had a u/s end of jan to find out if something was wrong with me coz i wasnt getting periods since november and they didnt pick up bub#2 :laughing:

i did a hoem test in mid feb and got a positive :)
