probably not the first mumma to say this
I HATE SNUGGLERS NAPPIES
they are terrible to get on as the tabs keep ripping
they don't fit well at all
and they leak constantly
:banghead:
WORST NAPPIES OF ALL TIME
i even rang the company to complain and got precisely NOWHERE
runner up for the next worst are cosifits: absorbancy = 0
and a close third are the target brand.
huggies are great apart from the occasional crystal problem, but sooo very expensive for a single mum.
but since reading the postings, will give the woolies 'select' a go.
wish me luck!!

I agree, i stopped using snugglers ages ago. i used huggies til the woolies ones came out, now i use them all the time. Haven't had a prob, even at night from 9.30 - 7.30am!

Have you tried baby love?? I have used them in the past and found them to be good. I have also just purchased a box of lullaby nappies and have been using them for a few days and so far have had no problems. I find they are quite a generous fit.

Aldi nappies are the best!
It seems every has different experiences. We have been using Snugglers since we brought Andrew home from hospital and have never had any dramas.

Definitely different for everyone.. DD uses cloth fulltime but DS has been in snugglers for 3 years and they're the only nappies I HAVENT had problems with.. actually once I thought they changed there sizing so contacted them about it and they sent me out a bulk pack for free and told me they hadnt changed the sizes but sometimes in manufacturing they can alter a little.
Anyway... huggies the tabs are my worst nightmare and basically every other nappy ive ever tried on DS has leaked and not fitted properly!
I love snugglers! :)

I agree toatally!! Snugglers  I gave up a while ago with them & switched to Mamia ( aldi's brand) and they are equally as good as huggies but 1/2 the price!!
I have used snuggles for both my kids with no problems at all:thumbsup:
At the moment I am using Bi Lo brand and I find them to be quite good, no leaking or crystals and are only $20 for 72 toddler nappies:thumbsup:

im havign the exact smae problem with huggies at the moment. my DS is a heavy wetter (DP says DS pees more then a horse  ) and huggies are leaking alot and the tabs get caught on his clothes or on the couch and balnkets and rip off so then his nappy falls off and he pees ont he floor if i dont realise in time lol
cant wait to do the full conversion to cloth :smiliedance:

I never used snugglers. I use the BIG W dymples brand by day and huggies by night. Saves me heaps i get 96 nappies for $22 HUGE SAVING! and they do great of a day time :)
I find the tabs on the snugglers cut in to EJs thighs no matter what (they seem a little rough/thin) :/
Huggies are the best by far that I've tried - Dont mind the baby love ones though but they arent as absorbant as Huggies.

read everyone's responses,
and all the other napy threads.
have been using 'woolworths select' nappies for a week now, and have to say they are the best nappies ever!!! even been getting my friends to convert.
thanks all for your great input!!
how are the select nappies?
aldi's nappies are the cr@ppiest ive used. far worse than babylove. at least babylove had strong griptabs. mamia are terribly bad. i've been using snugglers almost since DS was born and have had no problems at all. now i am left with an almost full bag of cr@ppy nappies that i dont want to use but have to.
do the select nappies have a smaller size bag so that if i dont like those i am not trapped with a big bag of nappies i cant use. i want to ask other recommendations of other generic nappies but thats why i bought the mamia nappies and look where it got me.
maybe i'll just stick with snugglers for now.
dont even suggest huggies to me as they are too much of a rip off in price...

Snugglers are the worst. I find Babylove to be suitable for daytime use. But there's nothing better than Huggies for nighttime. Huggies are getting very expensive! The supermarket has put them up to $41 per box. I'm glad I got a couple of boxes on special at $30.

I too have noticed that the supermarkets have been increasing the prices of Huggies to over $40 a box. I look for the sales but if there is none on I have found that Toys R Us are usually the cheapest. Their normal price is around $35/$36 a box. And they seem to have sales on more often then the big stores.

I use to buy Snugglers until about 3 weeks ago when my daughter had the runs and the Snugglers just werent holding the runny poo in...so i tried a Huggies one that i got as a sample and the next runs stayed in...so i then went and bought a box of Huggies and its definently worth the money...Her clothes use to be wet when i got her out of bed in the mornings aswell but she has not once had a wet morning wake up since the Huggies have been used...
HUGGIES ARE OUR FAVOURITE
