Hi Tyrah, I was just wondering about what clothes to get. So far I have pretty much nothing!
We have a carseat and bassinett.
I just bought 3 0000 wondersuits, and have been given 3 000 bodysuits, and just have singlets and socks. I am so lost about what clothes I should buy so probably not much help!
I have 3 cotton wraps, and 6 muslin wraps, but don't have a clue how many I will need!

I have pretty much everything!
This is baby girl #3 so not too much to buy.
Will just need some summer clothes that's about it.
We did buy;
a new pram
2nd hand bassinette that I re-vamped (see August thread for Oct mums)
2nd hand capsule from friend
baby play gym
That's about it.
I bought a few little jump suits, nothing thick tho.
I have to go through all of the clothes I have stored from DD2.

Why am I not surprised you have everything Danni :). Ive got all the big stuff either in the shed or on layby, really got get that nursery set up. Ive got a couple of blankets a cot rug 1 set of sheets and just a few singlets and grow suits. My friends who have recently had babies said not to buy too many clothes cause you get given sooooooo many. Also been told to have about 6 of the important clothes (eg grow suits singlets etc) unless you want to be washing everyday. I work with a lot of great ladies who will spoil me and bubs rotten so Im trying to stock up on things like nappies and wipes etc nd hoping Ill get given the rest if not Ill send Mum shopping while shes here give me 5 mins peace lol. Honestly I have no idea what Im doing, just trying not to buy stuff I wont need.
Question to all the 2nd, 3rd etc mums what are the little things you didnt think of with your 1st that would be good to get?

The only things I have to get for this bub are a car seat and a cot mattress. Ryan is in a toddler bed and is still using his cot mattress.
Ryan loves to walk so I don't have to worry about a new pram.
Clothes wise, I gave my older sister all of Ryan's small clothes, but I am in the process of getting all that back.

I have been getting much of my bubs things from garage sales. People are always happy to see the things their babies no longer need go to a place where it will be used, and they usually sell them very cheap.
I have a bassinet, change table/bath combo, two bouncers (I figure one can go to grandmas), a pram, a jolly jumper, blankets, sheets and lots of clothes. Some of the clothes I bought from ebay.. good deals to be had there too! Name brands like baby gap, pumpkin patch, pure etc in big bulk packs for only a couple of dollars and they look like they were never used. In my opinion bubs grow to quick to spend that much money!
Need to buy the consumables - wipes, powders, shampoos etc. Plus consider nappies .. atm thinking a combo of disposable and cloth. Cloth 'cause I want to be good, disposables 'cause I know I'm going to be in a rush sometimes

One thing I didn't have for the first but mum went and got some were mittens as Liam had scratch marks from day dot on his face  So even though they look silly good thing to have. Maybe nail clippers, I hated using them mum would bite Liams nails, they grow so quick.
Oh and I had a heap of huggies wipes but he got a rash to them so they were wasted so be careful stocking up big on somethings as you never know. We get the 6 pack of j&j wipes at kmart or bigw cheap and
we have never had a prob.
The only other thing was we had to get bigger wondersuits as he was such a Big baby. Lucky that a friend of mine gave me so many of her things.
Ladies who are getting a double pram which brand did you get. So confused on which one to get? Thanks

I don't need a double pram as such, but am getting a Phil & Ted pram with toddler seat. It's the only one I've seen which DS won't be too heavy for the toddler seat, and it's not bigger than a single pram. He does like to walk too, so will leave the seat off sometimes. But I want to be able to strap him in when I need to :p (Especially when we go away..) And he still needs to have a nap during the day so if we're out then he can have one.

Yeah I will be getting a phil and ted pram just don't know which one to get. I like the new improved features of the 2 newer prams but just can't get my mind around the price tag???
So any advice will be welcome if you have one already or are upgrading I would love.

I'm getting the Dash. Has improved features on the last model, like the 5 point harness buckles (new models are much easier i think..)
I got mine on special - toddler seat came free! (I'm in Perth) Ring around some baby shops and see if you can get same deal...

Since DD has only just turned 2 I still have all the baby stuff on hand which does make things easier. We have bought bub's carseat, and we sold our Bugaboo to finance a Phil & Ted's. I was prepared to spend the money on one of the newer models, but came away with a Sport instead. There were some things about the Dash/Vibe that I didn't really like, and I couldn't justify the ludicrous price difference. JMO, of course.
Oh, and we still need to evict DD from the cot/toddler bed, but bub will be in a bassinet in the beginning so we still have a bit of time.
Really I just need DH to dig out the tub of newborn clothes from under the house so that they can be washed and sorted.
