DD2 has been vomitting up almost all her night feeds (10pm & 2am) for the past week. Even if I burp her heaps it still all comes up.

I gave her some formula last night and it all stayed down. I want to continue to do that, but breast feed during the day.

The formula recommends 6 x 120ml bottles a day. She will have 2 at night and then I'm not sure how to make up the rest.

Do I need to express and give her 4 x 120ml of EBM during the day, or can I just feed on demand as usual?

I would keep the breastfeeding component on demand - formula and breastmilk are not equivalent in calories or nutrients in any case so rather let you little one judge how much she needs during the day, she'll be more accurate.

Will also be much easier to keep it up!

The formula tins recommendations are for full-time FFing.

Keep boobing your bub during the day and bottler her at night if it works for you.

My DD has had a bottle on occasion at night and it has not affected my supply.

Breast pumps are also not as stimulating or as efficient at getting milk out than a baby.
