View Full Version : sleeping bags & rolling
Can anyone tell me if bubs can still roll over when they are in a sleeping bag? My DS rolls onto his tummy but does it half way up the cot so he is uncovered all night.
hello,
my son zane is 8 months and i have had the same trouble with him rolling since 4.5 months old. i now use a grobag sleeping bag and it is the best thing i have brought. he can still roll but does not travel up and down the cot or get stuck in the bars. i recommend them highly.
cheers, :fingerscrossed:

May be a silly ques but can they get tangled in their sleeping bag when they roll over? (In that bit of loose material at their feet?)
I just went out and bought Porsha a sleeping bag today, as I have a hard time getting her to keep the blankets on. I too am worried that she will tangled in the loose material around legs. She is always going from tummy to back a few times a night. How have others found them??

DD had a sleeping bag from 6m until moving into a bed and never had any problems rolling or getting tangled. She could still do everything, sit, stand, roll, even stick her legs through the bars when she was bigger but she could not get out of it and get cold.
Beware if the zipper stops under the chin they will get cleaver enough to unzip and get out.
Thanks for that. I too was worried that he would get tangled when rolling over. He has only just learnt to roll so I might let him master it before I pop him in a sleeping bag
Ladies, just thought I would let you know Porsha had a terrible time in her sleeping bag last night. After waking up crying 3 times before I went to bed, and once after, I gave up and took it off her. Obviously she must roll in the same direction each time because each time I went in there, the bottom half of the sleeping bag was just one big twisted mess. I think I'm just going to have to layer her clothes for sleeping this winter???
