DD1 who is 15 months old is starting to drop from 2 day sleeps to one. We kind of aleternate depending on how tired she is. She used to sleep about half an hour at 10am and another hour and 15 mins at 2.30pm. If I put her on only 1 day sleep she will go to sleep after lunchtime at 12.30 and only sleep for an hour and a quarter tops. Shes just errupted a bottom canine tooth too but isnt really showing any signs of distress with that although it prop still is painful. She seems to be fine through the day...doesnt really show any signs of irritability so Im guessing what she sleeps is enough but I still wonder.

She used to sleep much better during the day.
I wonder how much sleep other 15 month olds get? She will be going to full time day care soon so she will be doing only 1 day sleep there. PS at nights she goes to bed at 7.30pm, has 2 feeds before 9.30pm (a habit that I just cant seem to break!!) and then sleeps through till 6.30am. Shes always been an early waker.

Does she seem irritable or anything in the evenings? I think that is usually a good indication she is getting enough sleep.

I think the AVERAGE amount of sleep a 15 month old needs during a 24 hour period is between 13.5 and 14 hours. But that is only an average so obviously some bubs sleep less (my little one averages around 13 hours)

I think if she is happy and no whingy or clingy then you're on the right track :) She may even start to extend them as she gets older!
