can anyone recommend a good brand of cloth nappies? the pre folded ones?
how much were they? how easy are they to use and what do you do with them when you are out. what pilchers and liners do you use? how many would you need for an 8 month old? and what size?

Please help i want to convert!

Here's a great site to start you off!

http://www.ozclothnappies.org/

It's 'Real Nappy Week' this week, I'm going to a Nappycino (like a nappy open day) here in Adelaide on Saturday. But check out what stuff is happening in your area: http://www.modernclothnappies.org/

And here's a great site with all different brands available for sale:

As a recent convert, I've tried and been happy with Green Nappies and Baby Beehinds.

If you do a quick search on BH, you'll find heaps of threads with loads of information.

Plus there's the shopping directory to take you to websites to check out the products.

For an 8 month old plus, I would recommend pocket style nappies. My fave brand is Sandra's Stuffables but Green Kids are a close second. They are great because you only need to stuff them as much as required so they are absorbant and trim.
