I've been having really long cycles since coming off the pill in January of this year. First cycle was 45 days, second was 60 days. This is my 3rd cycle, and I started taking vitex on cd1. I'm currently on cd9, and just did an OPK and got a very strong positive straight away. I know vitex assists in producing LH which then triggers ovulation, so my question is - is vitex giving me a false positive? I wasn't expecting to ovulate for another month or so? Can anyone else please offer some advice?

Thank you

Vitex is a herbal product that should not alter the results of any tests, be they HPT, OPK or blood tests. The role of vitex is to normalise fluctuations in menstrual cycles - perhaps it has finally kicked in and is doing its job!!!

If you have a positive OPK - why are you on bubhub? You should be jumping your partner right now!!!! ;)
