My 7month old DD is teething madly...no actual teeth as of yet and I'm taking her to the Dr tomorrow to just check her miserable state is just due to teeth but....in the meantime I was wondering if I give her the Brauers Calm mixture, can I continue to use panadol? Also any other tips that might give DD (and me) some relief would be greatly appreciated.

Brauers Teething mixture is fabulous - and you can use it along with Panadol. In fact, that is the only combination of things that soothed Andrew at that age. :)

Love that Brauers..fantastic stuff!

Oh, I hear you MM! Its shocking sometimes isn't it. My darling Andrew likes to teeth one tooth at a time...just to stretch out the crankiness as much as possible. Its a bit wearying.

Is she having trouble sleeping? I used to dose up Andrew with Brauers, panadol and bonjela and that combination really helped him get to sleep. He never liked any of the teething rusks/rings, so it was a bit hard to get by sometimes.

Its so exciting when you finally get that first tooth though...:D

She's having loads of trouble with her day sleeps...I rock her to sleep quite easily but can't put her in her cot. Suffice to say we've spent a lot of quality time cuddling on the couch (which I love really)...it's just hard to see her in so much pain.

I'll throw a party when I finally see a tooth:smiliedance:

Gotta love those cuddles :) Enjoy them while you can. My Andrew won't sit still for more than 5 seconds these days....sweet cuddles are rare and much cherished!

It is really hard to see them in pain, but at least it will have a positive outcome. Andrew has a bad flu at the moment and its truly horrible hearing him hacking away and having a phlegmy throat. Enough to bring you to tears sometimes. Its so hard for them, how much easier it will be when they're grown up enough to tell you when/where/how much it hurts...

So true! I went to town today and the third person who asked what was wrong with Amelia got "I don't know! She won't bloody tell me!".....luckily they understood my outburst wasn't directed at them.

Oh don't you hate that!

And then, on the other end of the scale, they ask you whats wrong and you say 'oh he/she's teething' and they say 'are you sure? could it be the flu/measles/something fatal'? You can't win!!

All 18 teeth have been hell for my poor Angel :crying:
But these last 2 (2yr molars way to early) r a nightmare, someone told me to try those Hyland Teething Tablets (homeopathic) & they have been fantastic
She is sleeping all night again & I have not had to give her panadol or nurofen.
Worth a Try!!!
