ANy Idea's for a 1st Birthday Party?

DD is turnin 1 in less than a month and i haven't organised anything!
Truth is it will just be about 10-15 adults and her 4 year old cousin.
I'm thinking just a BBQ in a nice park/ beach.
Any suggestions on a nice place in Brisbane or Gold Coast?
Or any ideas on how to make it special for her birthday?

The beach or a park sound like a great idea. We had dd party at home with friends and relatives. Remember they are only little still and will feel overwhelmed if there is to much going on, so l dont think you need to do anything other the have some food and cake maybe some ballons and bubbles will make it a bit more special.

hi my son will be one in 28 days and we are having a bbq at daisy hill koala park, just having family and a few close friends

DD is one on the 31st august.

we dont have many friends or relos with little kids, but we are having a BBQ at our house with a few friends and immediate family, fancy dress theme of disney princesses and princes (yes for us adults... i will be snow white :laughing:) and we are reliving childhood games like pass the parcel and musical chairs! :laughing::D
